Just wanted to point out the Colts have the 4th best rush defense, are 7th in PPG, but 26th in pass defense.

If this helps bolster their pass defense, they'll have legitimately strong D to go with a great offense.

Never thought I'd see Daniel Jones as the league's leading passer over half way through the season, but here we are.

The Jets did this a few years ago, robbing Seattle blind by trading Jamal Adams there for two first rounders.  Those picks helped the Jets ascend from terrible to mediocre. Now they're back to terrible, so they're trading away their two best defenders for more picks, plus they're in the running for the first overall pick in the next draft.  If the Jets were a competent organization I'd be worried about what they'll be like in 2028.  In the meantime, the Bills can keep racking up two wins each year.

Let's see how Jones does against strong defensive teams.  I don't think he can keep up his great stats.

They are the drought era Bills right now. They just gave up all their blue chip talent that are going to need to be replaced. So sure, they have a few extra picks but now they have a bigger talent gap

I just don't see the plan. I don't see Glenn as the guy to turn them around either

Jones just had a FIVE TURNOVER game, 5!  They're taking a huge gamble here because if Jones is not the guy the loss of those two 1st round picks will prove devastating.  As it is even if Jones is the guy that was a very steep price to pay for a corner that hasn't looked that good over the last 2 seasons.

It's ridiculous price for a corner

I would trade two first round picks for deion Sanders.. sauce is good but that's a crazy price

I can go both ways on this.

if the jets are 2 years out- next year getting their qb and finishing the cap reset and truly competing in 2027…

QW will be 29 turning 30 that season and final year of his deal.

do you want 1 year of him in your window or a 1 and 2?

the sauce trade was just such a premium

plus it’s not just the picks but also $200M in cap space that can be rededicated to an actual plan.

I look at it as if they win the Super Bowl this season it was worth the risk.

I get it, really I do. I’m just not confident that the Jets have the right people in place to use all the effectively. IMO Glenn has been a disaster, the owner is a donkey and that building has a culture of losing.

Why sign Gardner to a huge deal in July then trade him away? I get the compensation is great, but it undermines the current regime. Were they so bad in the assessment of where the team was in July that by November it’s time to blow it up?  Same thing with Fields, is he your guy or not? Owner says he sucks while signing his checks

Just lack of planning and direction from a team has desperately needed it for a decade +
