HappyDays Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I'd like to think Brady is lying through his teeth here. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he doesn't really believe this. 2 Quote
YoloinOhio Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago He had to go all the way back to week 1 to reference a time that when they had to pass the ball, they could. 💀 2 Quote

I believe the defense is now good enough to win the Super Bowl. Our offense today is not Super Bowl worthy. Everyone has theories why it’s broken, but we agree it’s broken. How does an Offense with Josh, Cook, great OL, solid TEs, and a great slot receiver, how in the world is that offense broken? New England and Atlanta showed how it was flawed, maybe not broken. Quote
Buffalo716 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 1 minute ago, first_and_ten said: Allen doesn't scout receivers in his spare time, as best as I can discern. Good GMs don't let a quarterback make picks for them. Brady might have done all that after winning Super Bowls. I guarantee he wasn't so involved while In Josh's position. Maybe we should blame Josh for the Elam pick? To be honest, Josh seems like a humble guy, who doesn't overstep his bounds. I doubt Josh was asked about drafting Worthy or trading the pick. The 20-year-old said he received a text from Allen on Friday, before he was drafted that said (via the team's official website), "You're the guy that I want. I watched a lot of receivers and I want to play with you." Clearly the two-time Pro Bowler gives his stamp of approval on the pick. Allen has good reason to be excited about throwing to Coleman, who led the Seminoles last season with 658 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns. With the trade of wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who led the Bills in targets (160), receptions (107), receiving yards (1,183) and receiving touchdowns (8), Allen is in need of some options on offense. Coleman reciprocated the feeling back to Allen, saying he was hoping the Bills, who traded down to No. 33, would end up as his team. "I've been saying the same thing," Coleman said. "I want to play with the guy that wears No. 17. I think he's a great quarterback, one of the best in the league right now and I would love to be catching passes from him. I'm ready for that." Allen was involved in the team's selections, Bills general manager Brandon Beane revealed, saying his quarterback is "crazy about the draft process" and "loves it." "If I get a call from Josh in the offseason, it's usually him seeing somebody on a highlight, running into somebody, throwing with somebody -- just something to ask me what I think about this guy," Beane said. "He called me at the Senior Bowl [to ask] what do I think about a couple of guys there. So he loves it." Beane said he was curious about what Allen saw in certain prospects, asking him to watch film with coaches and talk about how he would utilize certain players in a game scenario. The GM said he wanted to hear what Allen saw in these players and it was Coleman who stuck out as one of the players the 27-year-old admired. Allen watched film with coaches about prospects Right from the horse's mouth Quote

But it’s everywhere. Talking heads on TV, Sports Radio, Cooler talks, etc. McD says “we need to have a good passing game”. “No more cute plays”. Complimentary football. I would love to have been a fly on the wall after Brady doubled down on his “cute” bull#### after being warned not to. Brady is hearing it internally and externally. I’m sure Terry is not liking what’s going on with our passing game. You don’t think Brady is under big pressure? Quote

But we need to ask ourselves an honest question. Can we win a Super Bowl under Beane/McDermott? This is certainly better than years of a playoff drought but I'd like to win just one. Quote

I'd love to add another piece as well, but Palmer needs to be featured, and Keon needs to sit. Moore is a decent route runner. Samuel has juice. This offense is just clunky right now. Something needs to change (passing game wise), and fast. If Samuel has "juice" I wish it was the Hoecht kind because Im not seeing it. My lying eyes and the stats say he has 3 catches for 35 yards...for the season. Quote

C'mon, Coleman is not good. That's obvious to everyone. Look at McConkey and Shakir's production, albeit inside. I'd rather have 2 slot guys who are really good than a wideout who is slow and cannot separate. Maybe Joe Brady isn't scheming guys open like other offensive coordinators, I don't know. Quote

And why is it Beane/McDermott getting all the blame? I'm sorry but last two KC playoff games were lost in part because Josh missed open targets and Bass missed a field goal that in the current NFL is make able. I'm not blaming them alone but when players fail they should get some of the blame too. Just now, first_and_ten said: C'mon, Coleman is not good. That's obvious to everyone. I'm sure they would agree. It's not fair, but that's life. Also, what targets did Josh miss? Edited 2 hours ago by first_and_ten Quote
