I wouldn't be surprised if this is the beginning of Tre taking over Cam Lewis' dimeback role as Hairston works into the starting role.

I still call them defensive ends FWIW. It got confusing with DEs and OLBs in a 3-4 are the same thing so I think that’s why.

I don’t know that his 40 snaps is an accurate picture of how much he played at DE. He has taken over the Solomon role, as the 3rd DE on passing downs and lining up over the guard. In the second half, they had him doing this even on early downs. 
 

I would be curious to know how many of his snaps were actually at End, but am guessing it’d be similar to Epinessas 28. 
 

One thing is for sure, this guy is going to get a lot of burn!

After watching Taron Johnson today, I hope his snap count goes down going forward and Hancock’s goes up.  He seems to have lost a step or something…coverage was bad multiple times.

I can't speak to non NFL/ non team web sites labeling edge/DE/olb but if it comes from the NFL/team it's due to how their contract labels them for franchise tag purposes 

 

That position group had a huge issue with the franchise tag specifically 3-4 outside line backers and 4-3 defensive ends where they pretty much play the same position but the franchise tag money at one point was very different for linebackers and defensive ends

Kincaid is the bills best pass catcher. Understanding he was questionable coming into the game and it was a blow out , 14 snaps on offense is way to low

It was load management easing him back in from the injury.  Next week you will see a lot more snaps with Kincaid on the field.

It was a blowout.  14 snaps is perfect.  He’s obviously not 💯

- Maxwell Hairston's 27 snaps to Tre White's 41 was a little more than I expected to be put on his plate in his first week. Real good sign that moves up the timeline.

 

- Hoecht taking the most amount of snaps at Edge is (even more than Rousseau) is surprising. As is Bosa coming in at 4th in the snap count. Seems with a fully healthy Edge room (crazy that we haven't lose a single DE but have lost FOUR DT's), there's been a push to limit Bosa to keep him healthy.

 

- Shaq Thompson taking every single snap as a starting Linebacker is great to see. I think he's been far and away the best and most consistent Linebacker all season. And has stayed on the field. Keep him on the field until Milano is 100+%. And even then, cycle them.

 

- Crazy to me that Keon Coleman *far and away* takes the most snaps at WR and provides us with so little. So sad.

 

- Sort of surprising to me to see Elijah Moore outs nap Samuel, as when Samuel is healthy, I think he provides (slightly) more. Maybe they were limiting his reps in returning to the field.

The wr snaps will be gameplan dependent I’m sure…Coleman probably brings the most in run blocking which fans don’t really care about but it can make a big difference 

 

it’s a little bit slimmer pickings with Palmer out also

Hawes was an absolute beast in run blocking not sure what the formation splits were but Hawes def earned his snaps today.  I think people are a little bit too hung up on on-paper stats if they’re upset Kincaid lost some snaps to Hawes today especially if Kincaid was still banged up

Taron’s back up is Cam Lewis. They had Hancock at S today, so I doubt he’s in their immediate plans to surplant #7, at least for this season.

It is kind of crazy how his presence on the field essentially means he’s getting the ball and yet the opposition can’t stop it.  You’d think that level of predictability wouldn’t fly.

Man I hope so. Cam needs to be off the field. More often than not I see a 3rd and long get converted and it’s Lewis trailing the WR making the catch
