Given his rookie year, I'd think they'd want a first and a little extra.  That said, I'd do it.  1st and a 4th?  1st and a 2027 3rd?  It might not be enough, but for a 23 year old receiver coming off of a 1,200 yard 10-TD season, with up to three years remaining on his rookie contract, I'd have no problem with the Bills making a compelling offer.  He's one of the few trade options that wouldn't force them to shuffle contracts to stay under the cap, and he remains cost-controlled for a significant stretch. 

 

Pay the freight, coach him up, and complete your receiver room.  I would love this trade.

This is a complete different football player than last year.. he looks nothing like a football player that's worth a first round pick right now..

He's not playing at the same level he was last year.. everything I said is true do you actually have a counter or do you just want to hit an emoji

The way he's running routes and playing right now that's scary to give up a first round pick

He looks like the guy I saw on tape at LSU

 

I was very surprised when he took off last season, but now he's back to being exactly what some scouts and myself saw

there is a world where we do this, BTJ looks like last year’s version AND Keon becomes a solid WR. Then you’re set for a while with your top 4 wideouts

If anything, he's got those alligator arms and is contact shy because he's afraid of the hits. I get it. And I'm probably going to be downvoted to oblivion for even mentioning it... But this coaching staff was able to get Hamlin in the headspace to take on contact after his incident. I think they can work their magic to get Thomas ready to play again, too

I mean there's plenty of players in NFL history over 100 years who have had one or two really good seasons

To think having a really good rookie season guarantees a 10-year long-term great career is not how the NFL works

The jaguars wouldn't be open to moving him unless they thought there was something up he's Young and on a rookie contract

 

I get it you really like this guy last year coming into the draft.. but if you don't understand that there's ebbs and flows peaks and valleys.. and the lines not always straight up progression I don't know what to tell you you don't know ball

Michael Clayton had 1200 yards and seven touchdown as a rookie .. he was a 6'3 205 lb beast and was a higher first round pick than btj

So you're literally going to dismiss Michael Clayton who was a higher draft pick who had a higher pedigree coming out of college and basically put up 1200 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie and then never did anything else 

 

Brian Thomas Jr had 90 more yards lol

 

You can absolutely go the same way as Michael Clayton.. he could also turn it around but to say he's going to be a perennial pro bowler is not correct 

 

People anointed Odell Beckham as the next greatest thing ever and he's not a Hall of famer I said the same thing after his hot start that it's not going to last 

 

You think Brian Thomas Jr is a 14,000 yard receiver in 10 years?
