I wonder what it will take for a regime change. Imo, if we miss the playoffs (unlikely) or squeak in to go one and out, it will point to a need for McBeane to go and replaced with someone who can take advantage of the second half of Allen's career Edited 12 hours ago by Fan in Chicago Quote
LittleSammy Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Ask us again after the bye week is over. If Beane is able to somehow get us the WR we need, it may allow the Offense to carry the Defense, at least into the early playoff rounds. The defense has multiple issues and, due to only a little over $2M in cap space left, not sure we have the ammunition to fix it and the offense. Not much magic left to use to create meaningful cap space for a big difference maker. Then, add in the arrogance of McDermott and Brady thinking all is well, ouch. Babich still around, double ouch. The only team we've truly 'beaten' with across the board decent play from all three phases is the lowly Jets. I feel like the Paytoilets exposed our offense and all other teams will follow suit by playing straight man coverage and make Josh beat the blitz. Hey, I would love nothing better than for JA17 to bring home the Lombardi, but it's gonna be a long season and short post season. It is WILD to predict a Josh Allen led team will finish out the season 5-6 or worse. I’m all for fair criticism of the team, but the 6 people so far that have chosen 9-8 or 8-9 are the reason I don’t come here much after losses. The doom and gloom brigade is too much. The thing that makes it worse is they feel like they are the realists… Quote
zow2 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago There’s definitely 4 more losses on that schedule. Maybe all the national media ripping them this week will light a fire. Who knows if they have the talent on D to tighten things up. Quote
frostbitmic Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Recent history would suggest the Bills will end up 11-6. We ended up 11-6 in 2023 and 2021 and 10-6 in 2019 ... Odd numbered years we lose 6 games. Quote
GroteStreet Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I hope I am wrong about this, but I feel that the team will be stuck in the 10-12 win season, early round playoff loss jail until both beane and mcdermott are gone. They both would have been gone years ago if josh wasn't here. 1 1 Quote
Brand J Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago There was never a better year to pull off a first in the Josh Allen era and claim a 1 seed. And then the team loses to the Patriots and Falcons in back to back weeks, hard to be optimistic. With that said, I voted 13-4, I think these last two weeks will ignite some focus that was previously missing. Quote
TheWei44 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago 11-6 seems about right. And depending how those break either division champ or 5/6 seed WC. Anything can happen in post season and maybe we have health and some luck on our side this year? Quote
Walking Tall Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) 10-7 I believe there are at least 5 teams (Patriots, Chiefs, Colts, Broncos, Chargers), and possibly six or seven (Steelers, Jaguars), that are better than the Bills in the AFC so 10-7 feels right. Edited 8 hours ago by Walking Tall Quote

Figuring they may lose to the Chiefs in there, among a few other potential roadblocks. But only go down in two of those games, and need to win in Week 18 to get the 1 seed. If we beat the Panthers and then lose to the Chiefs, youre saying we essentially win out? I dont see it. This isn't the same team, theres more than just some holes. I hate being that person, but I just dont see any way we take the worst defense in the league, an offense that is one injury away from joining them on a run like that. Maybe if we trade for Jalen Waddel but I highly doubt it.. 1 Quote
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago 10-7. They'll lose to the Patriots again, KC, Philadelphia ,Tampa and Carolina. Second in division, wildcard road game, first round exit. 1 Quote
DuckyBoys Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago 10-7 seems most likely They will lose at least one more against a sub par opponent and I don't see them winning chiefs, bucs eagles. Texans and Steelers I see them dropping one of those . Not confident we beat Pats either . Defense is hot trash and Allen looks deflated body language wise. There will be some coordinator firing and rinse repeat for 2026 1 Quote

Who replaces which scapegoat coordinator? If we beat the ever-loving piss out of a team we have to, like Carolina, then come home and beat the Chiefs I can see us winning at least 10 because then we have confidence again. Quote
