Before the 2024 draft there were rumors that Xavier Legette was, uh, not an intelligent person. Scouts were reportedly giving him poor marks for his football IQ. Turns out that was probably true. He just did one of the dumbest things I've ever seen, attempting to lateral the ball to a teammate who very clearly was not ready and after a game of fumblerooski they end up almost out of FG range.

it’s a great play. More teams should practice the rugby pitch

I’d love to know where that 2 point spot overturn was in the bills chiefs game last year…same deal where all you could see was his body without the ball and assume he got there and they flipped the call based on that in the NE game

Yeah, that was weird! I thought folks were being too whiny about wanting to eliminate that “tush push” play. But if it’s gonna be based off of subjective opinion, then they might want to look at removing that play. You still couldn’t tell if Drake actually scored. But the fact they talked to Vrabel and then overturned it was weird. And Mike spends a lot of time working the refs too much for my liking. He just irks me for some reason!🤣

It’s really annoying that the Patriots are good and found their franchise QB relatively quickly.

they are well coached and stacked with pretty good talent.

Odd to have every game at the half. Normally at least one goes through the first half quickly or is delayed so it doesn't end until at least one game starts the 3rd.

Today is one of those days where it feels like the entirety of humanity has stopped trying.  RedZone sucks today.  The officials everywhere suck today.  The clock operators and TV producers suck today.  We are slacking as a species.

This place is lousy with Pats fans today.

if you look at their upcoming schedule and how they are playing, it’s hard to imagine them not having a very good record at the end of the year.

You mean the refs are posting?

I mean, the Pats OL was the only line that didn't hold for 20 years, and then they suddenly starting holding in 2020. In an uncertain world, it's nice that something is back to normal.

Drake Maye sitting with a 158.3 at the half

Not trying to take anything away from him but any top half of the league qb would have the same against them right now lol. The saints dbs are absolutely lost on routine coverages today for some reason

doesn’t mean he wouldn’t still have a good game even if the saints defense figured things out though obviously

Sad, but 100%accurate.
