Beane has built a team as if it’s still 2019. Bringing back garbage like Phillips and Poyer because they’re known commodities and he’s worried about being burned.

The offense is built like Josh is still learning the ropes and has to rely on a run game.

The only reason...and I literally mean the ONLY reason...this team makes the playoffs is because Josh puts the team on his back and does things no other QB can do.

You put a statistically mediocre QB on this team with everything else the same and we are a likely 6 win team on a yearly basis.

It shows why McD is a top coach in the league. He’s got nothing to work with.

Are our WRs good? No. But at some point Brady needs to find a way to get them open down the field.

The Patriots are completing 50 yard passes to some guy named Pop Douglas.

The Patriots skill position group is worse than ours.

Brady needs to figure it out.

I don’t mind the everyone eats even but they have absolutely nobody who wins outside or creates separation. Every year in offseason  we have to hype ourselves up and look at any metric and variable on why players who haven't  been good but will break out here. This time it’s Palmer and Moore. Bills desperately need a WR. With no Kincaid (who would think he’s THAT valuable) this is first time I can remember in years that I had zero faith in Allen being able to go down field to get TD. I kept wondering who hell is going to make multiple plays? Coleman? Shavers?

How about a system where you eat what you kill?

Where are all the eye-roll and thumbs-down reactions to my original post now? Tonight just proved the point, we don’t have killers. This team lives and dies by whether Cook can break loose, and when you’re playing from behind, the run game disappears behind a below-average passing attack.

Yes, the defense started out atrocious, but the offense lost this game. There were multiple chances to take control, and every one of them slipped away. Josh hasn’t looked right, outside of a few quarters, he just hasn’t been himself.

Everyone Eats when everyone comes to the table hungry.

Everyone Eats fails when everyone already had snacks prior and only 1 or 2 are somewhat hungry. The food gets left at the buffet and Allen has to try and throw go-home bags of leftovers at the uninterested crowd.

The perfect scenario would be a WR1 who has a similar persona as Allen, in that he puts team success over his own personal accolades. He may not put up 100 yard games with 15 targets weekly but will certainly be there when needed. Allen plays better when he can throw to anyone but still needs someone who can at least give him an outside option anytime he needs one. Shakir can be his Beasley but he needs a new less ego filled Diggs.

I find the focus on the offense to be truly bizarre.

It's been historically good.  If we fall short this year it will be because of the defense, again.

You're right.  This teams offense is right up there with early 2000s Rams.  What was I thinking?  They are "historically good" against teams with a combined total of 3 wins so far this season.

And you know what maybe infusing a top 10-15 draft pick would help this team.

I can't believe the nonsense this week from one loss.  How can Bills fans not know how to handle a loss?

You're right.  They've really beaten some quality opponents so far.

Teams play their schedule that is all they can do.  Quality opponents are coming in the next month.

Lol, personally I don’t care, at all, about the WR’s ego. The Bills were a way better offense with Diggs than without. I care that the WR consistently gets open and makes plays. If AJ Brown were available sell your soul. I don’t care if I have to throw it to him 20 times a game to keep him happy. I’d rather 20 balls a game to “(insert good WR here)” than 5 to Palmer, 5 to Coleman, 5 to Samuel and 5 to Shakir. Just get a guy that’s good.

I would happily endure AJ Brown's depression book club and melodramatic tweets all the way to the Super Bowl.
