Cubanmist 1 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) As much as I love Sean and Beane, I strongly believe that if we miss reaching the SB again we HAVE to move on. Things seem stagnant and nothing has changed when compared to last year. I think Beane has done a disservice to Allen by not providing better targets especially when he could have instead of drafting crappy players (Landon Jackson, Bishop, Greg Rousseau, Basham, and that one CB that was traded to Dallas). Something has got to change. What do you guys think? Edited 39 minutes ago by Cubanmist 1 1 1 1 6 2 Quote
Gregg Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago A lot of people (myself included) would welcome a change, but Terry likes Beane and McDermott as his GM/HC combo. Unless the Bills completely fall apart and miss the playoffs I don't see either one in danger of losing their jobs. Even if they did miss the playoffs Terry would probably give them another year to fix the problem. 2 Quote
Success Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 100%. And I'm very grateful to both guys. But we are treading water here, and Allen is on the cusp of 30. I hope that they don't even make this a consideration by at least getting this team to the SB this year. Quote

gjv Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I think, if Beane doesn't bring in a quality CB , within the next 2 weeks, he is guilty of dereliction of duty. Hopefully, the Pat's game has shown Beane that our secondary is lacking the talent necessary to a serious defense. With Hairston and Strong out, Tre White a shadow of his former self, Beane has to trade for a top CB. The price will undoubtely be high, but not fortifing the CB spot will, in my opion. tank the season. 2 Quote

KOKBILLS Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago On this subject... And it's not a huge thing... But it is a thing... While we continue to try to find answers at DT... Two players we let walk for nothing...Both basically played 2024 for around the vet minimum...Both DT's... Poona Ford and Tim Settle have played every game but one (Ford missed a game this year) since they left and combined for 83 total tackles, 9 sacks and 20 run stuffs as rotational DT's... We let them walk... I get they may not have been great here... Maybe a scheme thing... But they seem to be OK NFL DT's... 1 Quote
BuffaloBaumer Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The Bills already hit their peak at 13 seconds. The AFC is only going to be adding more young QBs who will make our schedule tougher every single year. Wait until Miami and Jets actually find a guy when they go 2-15. We will never have any easier schedule than we do this year and if they don't get the 1 seed and make it to the Super Bowl, it's an abject failure all-around. Our depth is awful, the offense is ALL Josh Allen, and we are 1 or two injuries away from completely falling apart. The Patriots found their guy and the division is no longer a given anymore. How many more failed Dline and receiver picks need to be made to show that drafting has been atrocious. Without Allen, this team falls off a cliff and and maybe they win 2-3 games a year. Wasting arguably the most talented QB to ever live is the crime of the sports century. Enough is enough.. 1 5 1 Quote

The grass is rarely brown for anyone that has a QB like Josh Allen. He's worth 11 or 12 wins alone. Gotta have a pair to win it all. Be bold and make a friggin move if they fail again, or it will be the biggest waste of a generational talent NFL in league history. Edited 1 hour ago by FormerLV-BILLS 1 1 Quote

I agree but how do you draft defensive players for a scheme that players can’t naturally excel in? It was doomed from the start. The scheme doesn’t play to players natural abilities. He's still making money off of that team and owning an nfl team is basically just having a money printing machine in your closet so there is no incentive for him to change anything since nothing has changed with the sabres. 2 Quote

uticaclub Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago One of them should; neither of them will. They will be here for Josh’s entire career in Buffalo and only get fired after they go 2-15 following Allen’s departure. Quote
