No More Whiteouts again ever in Buffalo Bills history

Week 8 Jets vs Bills 2011.  The Bills were 5-2 and trying to make a statement to be a solid 1st place team with half the season left.  Instead they got their butts kicked by the Jets and only won one more game that whole season.  Rex then put together a game plan that shut down the Bills offense other teams followed.  And yeah that game I remember being a white out at the stadium.

 

 

So yeah that loss was on whose ever brilliant idea it was to try this again.  Bad Karma 

I was actually thinking about that game and how the game as well as the rest of the season didn't work out so well when I heard about the white out. Like Churchill said, those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Hope then rest of the season works out better than the post white out game in 2011.

I really disliked these jerseys and I hope they get canned after whatever the minimum number of years they’re required to use them is. I guess they’re better than the red jerseys but why not just give us the 90’s throwbacks like everyone has asked for?

 

It looked like the Lions had an unfortunate laundry accident. Hard pass for me. And the helmets were worse. 

 

NO, it’s not why they lost, but it is one of the reasons I don’t care as much as I used to.

But still even a day removed the 2011 white out game against the Jets was one of the more underrated awful/horrible Bills games I remember.  It was really the start of the transformation of Fitzmagic to Fitztragic.  I think that's what triggered me to begin with.

 

 

 

So yeah can we all agree no more kind of thing?  

I'd be more than ok never having a white out again.    Come up with something specific to the Bills and Buffalo.

I don't know how to resize my photo to paste it here however I have a pair of whitish vintage Buffalo Bills Zubaz Hammer Time baggy parachute pants from the 80's that I had to make into shorts because I ripped them climbing over a fence while being chased by angry bulls.

 

Do you think there is enough white on them to fit the requested dress code for this Sunday's night game?

 

Oh...I failed to mention that there is less white on the seat of the pants due to the crap stain I can't seem to wash out from the above mentioned incident.

You will be happy to know that I burned said Zubas immediately after the game.

 

Hazmat is almost finished with their investigation after some neighbour reported the stench from the fire.

I actually do think they spent too much time in the week leading up to the game promoting the jerseys. It seems like more players were available last week to the media than usual and all of them seemed to hype up the jerseys. I like the jerseys, but I don't think they need to be promoted so much. One of the team's IG posts was a slide of each player holding up a "Bring The Storm" towel, felt flat like the team's performance.

Orchard Park HS has a better defense than the Bills. I wonder what is worse right now. The Bills defense or the Yankees pitching. It's been a tough few day's sports wise for me.

I'm back home from Buffalo. Haven't read this entire thread, so I don't know if anyone has said what I'm about to say. 

 

I agree. No more white outs. And no more silly special unis.  And it's not because it's some kind of jinx. It's because the Bills are who they are, and they shouldn't try to be something trendy. 

 

Guy in front of me wore his standard blue Josh Allen game jersey. He said he's been wearing for three seasons, and he wasn't going to change for some silly white out thing. 

 

Same thing with the towels. Every time they pass out towels, it's stupid. Towels are a Steelers thing, and we look like junior high school trying to be cool like the high school kids when management tries to generate excitement by copying the Steelers. 

 

The Giants play in their standard blue just about all the time. They're happy to be who they are.  The Bills are the Bills. The fans are proud of who the team is, and who the Bills are.  We don't need gimmicky BS. We're blue collar, and we wear the same stuff every week.  Team should too. 

 

 

And one more thing:

 

The Bills are raking in millions with their seat licenses. They don't need to gouge us all for another $200 selling us special white game jerseys.
