Ban some more books.  WTF.  Some dad got shot for no good reason, the country is ripping apart at the seams through fault of everyone, and you bring up more specious nonsense.  I just hope he survives and all of this nonsense stops.

What books are being banned by the right?

How do you explain the anti trump rhetoric?

Make no mistake...

If someone would have successfully assassinated POTUS Trump today...

C Section would be typing the same empty moral platitudes while celebrating with a bottle wine...

That’s simply not true.  The logic here is absurd.  They guy was “leftist,” but had registered as a Republican three years earlier, but maybe became a “leftist” thereafter, but didn’t change his political affiliation because he planned to shoot Trump at a rally that he knew would be scheduled after his conversion to “leftism?”  Wow.  It’s much easier — and much more accurate — to say that there are too many people in both sides who have gone to an extreme.  We can choose to be civil to one another and cut the crap, or we can take a different route.

First, and foremost, like I've already said, democrats sometimes register as republicans to attempt and mess up primary voting.  Republicans do the same thing to democrats.  If this kid had some political saavy, he may have done that.

The more likely scenario is he registered to vote as a high school senior at 18, not knowing what the hell he was doing, and three years later had a different ideology.  How many 18-21 year olds do you know who are on their game politically and arent swayed by public opionion and the need to fit in?   I don't think we were dealing a brain surgeon in this instance.   We were dealing with a mentally ill idiot.

What position is left a Pol Pot besides Communism? Pol Pot was a communist himself, so what is left of him?

I meant Pinochet. Oops.

I'm not wrong.

Sorry.

Again, I predict that nothing will change.

Elected officials were killed earlier this year. No one cares.

Sadly think you’re right.  The provocateurs on each side will keep doing what they’re doing.  Hopefully the normies band together and restore some sanity soon.

For the most part this board is a bunch of mindless nonsense.   A bunch of bored Bills fans stuck at work and talking crap back and forth with one another.    If you cant, or are not willing to seperate a man from his political opinions, then you're part of the problem.

For the most part, this board is full of people who spend most of their waking hours foaming at the mouth about evil, mentally defective, liberals/conservatives who they believe should be the subject to all manner of violent punishments.  The guy blaming MSNBC for all political violence in the country is telling me its not the time for any other discussion.  He would hate to see a tragedy politicized, I'm sure.

I think if any of these people want to claim the moral high ground today or lecture about separating human beings from their political opinions they should be reminded of their role in an ever deteriorating political discourse.  Perhaps some self reflection is in order? Once we get to the bottom of whose fault this is, of course.

Good luck with that fantasy...

Current trends are set...

Are you one of the normies? The guy that spent a chunk of his day repeatedly calling someone an incel? Just wondering. Takes something away from your sober and decent comments in this thread.

So word salad aside the msm doesn't do anything to throw gasoline on these issues.
