Politics in general are divisive and polarizing, his political opinions were no less polarizing or divisive as the next persons.   That does not make Charlie Kirk the person divisive and polarizing.

Probably not the time to respond, but with respect to the second point I agree with your nuance.  He’s a human.  We don’t do stuff like this to other humans in this country because we disagree with them.  Everybody, on all sides, needs to tone it down, stop the whataboutism, hope this young dad survives, and then figure out how we can be better to each other moving forward.

EVIL.

I don't know who that is speaking in that report but it has to be the stupidest remarks I have ever heard. I mean ever.

Both sides blame each other and just keep escalating.

Meanwhile, the rich get richer, the poor poorer and the political class laughs while the rest of us fight their culture wars.

The rhetoric needs to stop. The violence needs to stop.

Then you should stop posting here if you truly believe that.

Its in one of the posts here.  It really should be taken down.

Charlie Kirk was more than his job.   It still makes sense to me.

I agree he is more than his job.  But all opinions are not equally controversial or equally divisive.  While Charlie is deserving of the same human rights as every other person on the planet, regardless of what any of us may think of his opinions, there is no obligation to separate the man from his opinions.

This board hates countless fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters for their jobs, for their opinions, and for their politics.

Msnbc should take a long look in the mirror.

Not the time.  We should be past that.  Somebody said something stupid and untimely.  Whatever.  Both sides have done it for far too long.  Let’s hope this guy survives and be more respectful and open minded with each other moving forward.  This is a disgrace, just like Minnesota, and just like any other politically motivated violence.  It has to stop.

Who do you think riles up all these crazy people?

He’s right about the last paragraph, but it’s not the time.  We should all be better to each other.  Everywhere. After we all pray or pull or light a candle or whatever for a dad who was shot because of his opinions.  It’s wrong and it has to stop.

I’m not going to get into it now, but fault lies on all sides.  Nobody is blameless.  If you don’t agree with that, then there’s no sense in discussing it later or further.

Interesting theory...

I see little evidence that your theory holds water...

For the most part this board is a bunch of mindless nonsense.   A bunch of bored Bills fans stuck at work and talking crap back and forth with one another.    If you cant, or are not willing to seperate a man from his political opinions, then you're part of the problem.

Funny how both sides need to tone it down when we all see where the extreme violence is coming from.

Yeah it sucks when people from either side are murdered or kidnapped or talked about in a way to incite violence.  You got that right.
