That does not make Charlie Kirk the person divisive and polarizing. Probably not the time to respond, but with respect to the second point I agree with your nuance. He’s a human. We don’t do stuff like this to other humans in this country because we disagree with them. Everybody, on all sides, needs to tone it down, stop the whataboutism, hope this young dad survives, and then figure out how we can be better to each other moving forward. Homelander Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Both sides blame each other and just keep escalating. Meanwhile, the rich get richer, the poor poorer and the political class laughs while the rest of us fight their culture wars. The rhetoric needs to stop. The violence needs to stop. 1 1

It still makes sense to me. I agree he is more than his job. But all opinions are not equally controversial or equally divisive. While Charlie is deserving of the same human rights as every other person on the planet, regardless of what any of us may think of his opinions, there is no obligation to separate the man from his opinions. This board hates countless fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters for their jobs, for their opinions, and for their politics. 1

Somebody said something stupid and untimely. Whatever. Both sides have done it for far too long. Let’s hope this guy survives and be more respectful and open minded with each other moving forward. This is a disgrace, just like Minnesota, and just like any other politically motivated violence. It has to stop. 1 minute ago, Homelander said: Both sides blame each other and just keep escalating. A bunch of bored Bills fans stuck at work and talking crap back and forth with one another. If you cant, or are not willing to seperate a man from his political opinions, then you're part of the problem. 3

Funny how both sides need to tone it down when we all see where the extreme violence is coming from. 1
