Give it up homie. You have Lame Mar at QB. About as scary as Tua in Miami. Both have proved that they are exciting but can't win when they need to. Full stop.

Bills have a real TEAM. Ravens are all flash and hope. Harbaugh needs to go too. As long as you have Lame Mar you are nothing but reg season fodder.

Bills win this one. We are a better team all around. Won't even be close.

Lamar and Josh are in the same boat they're both trying to win their 1st Lombardi.

Yes.  To bust a run on the very first place that's over 70 yards is an anomaly.

Learn2stat101 sweetheart.

So what about the the other 120 yards?

That's possible to do. But we also have the best player in the league and you do not. Josh Allen.

That's your opinion, however the opinion of others is Lamar Jackson is the 2nd best player in the league and Josh is 3rd.

@FranchiseSavior

If Ricard misses the game -- and given that Likely will also miss the game -- do you anticipate the Ravens to pivot from their usual heavy use of 12 and 21 personnel and perhaps employ more 11, with Hopkins getting serious snaps? Or do you expect them to stay more true to their typical offensive identity? And if so, is there anyone on the roster that they consider a backup of sorts to Ricard? Granted, no one can do what he can do, but...is there a backup FB?

We have a guy in the PS Lucas Scott who was a OL at Army and is transitioning to FB.  He played well in the preseason and I suspect he may get the call up.  I do think DHops snap count will be way up this game.  He won't place Ricard but he was more than willing to stick his nose in and open up holes.

They understand they need to stop the run.  We go into every single game wanting to make teams one dimensional.  The very 1st thing we want to do is stop the run. Not saying we do this but that is the 1st goal.  What makes Kyle Hamilton so good is because he can drop down and play LB and be just as effective.  I do think he'll be the one task with the back out of the backfield.    Im quite sure its the opposite. They want to stop the run and make your wr beat them.

So LB on Kincaid?  Pretty excited to see if Buff comes out in 23 personnel. Would a great flip of the script.  Besides Hawes I feel good about all those player running a route but also just mauling peeps

Also: Thanks for the response.

I think this game may very well come down to who is and isn't healthy on both sides.

Ricard and Likely are both significant losses for the Ravens offense, and Tre White would be a potentially big loss for the Bills defense.

Here's to a good, hard fought, injury-free game (and a Bills win, of course!)

Ricards ability to run a route though is his secret weapon. Easy to put a big guy back there to hit people. But not being one dimensional when you do that is the challenge. Ricard had to be respected in the passing game.

Many teams lose 3 guys since the final preseason game that the guys either didn't play in or didn't get hurt in.

That bottom 3 rating in the NFL for training staff and facilities we saw last week kind of checks out right about now.

FFS this is ridiculous and you can't even remotely argue otherwise.

I am a Bills fan, but this is wild.

1. We can't even begin to have a good faith discussion if we all can't agree that Lamar is >>>>>>>>>>than Tua.

2. Tua is exciting?

Ricard and Likely have really done damage to us, as has henry.

ravens in 11 formations and the bills having some outside and side athletes to block (coleman, knox and kinkaid, not to mention when we go heavy jumbo, or palmer on the other side) could be why we win this game.  the ravens have not been good vs TEs or backs in the passing game.  that would be the only other thing (aside from deep ball success, but i don't think we have the horses for that) that we need to add to this O.

awe... sweetie. stats are really complicated for some. it's a hard subject. i know philosophical experts like stephen a smiff present grand explanations...

but in 2024 the bills averaged 115 yards/game thats with the big run by Henry. traditionally, the bills defense is good against the run.

so on average, yes, 199 yards is statistically a fluke. once the bills let the large run break for a TD that meant the bills gameplan was off the script and it fell apart. so that is a football logic and 101 type of thing.

are you following? because if i have to go more i will be more abrasive because i don't suffer fools from other teams coming here waving a flag of superiority. not especially when they get beat by the Bills in the playoffs in the last run and you'll likely come back here and pound your chest to the entire internet about how amazing your team is...

but, it's sort of the point. you pay to have an affiliation with your team. likely countless dollars, like all of us. you pay with your time, like us, to discuss your favorite team. the difference here between most of us and you? you're on the opposing teams message board stroking yourself off to fill some sort of void in your lack of superiority/confidence to instill that your identity is that of men who will never know your name, wear colors you support, from a town you have some connection to, in a game you probably have not played in 20 years+...

so, yeah, sweetheart, spare me that you have an opinion that Lamar JAckson means anything more to you than that of him just wearing purple, black, yellow and red.... because if Josh Allen was your QB you'd be just as willing to go visit him at the truck stop as you would Lamar.

Total speculation. But I have been wondering if Bass had a hernia/and or hernia surgery that he is trying to recover from and the team is trying to be coy as they manage it.

Seems like Benford is good to go. Coleman limited is not ideal but media reports from the start of practice said he looked fine so not too worried. Bass looks to be trending towards not playing.

With no Ricard or Likely, that really changes the dynamic on how disadvantaged our Defense is against the Ravens.

We’ll still have to rely on new guys to handle the read option/mesh point stuff Lamar, Henry etc will throw at us, but without those two, we should be able to stay in Nickel and their OL isn’t some monster unit.. our DL will be able to work their assignments without Ricard juggernauting himself through them.

Coleman wasn't even listed on the injury report they posted on their website.

And wtf with all the "groins"?
White has a groin...Benford has a groin.... Coleman has a groin... Bass has a hip/groin
What are these guys doing with their groins?

without those two the Ravens actually need to come out attacking short passes, quick routes, and even wheel routes. put speed against our db's, a lot of motion against our banged up cb's and rookies, our slow hamlin, our easily duped bishop, and wear rapp out.

run these pass routes early, get jackson his confidence. hell, even come out without huddling against our defense, quick passes all over us. maybe send someone deep. but eventually put henry into action and let him rumble and stumble against our weakened legs.
