Prayer for the Kelly family - Jesus, please help the whole Kelly family to receive your peace and comfort during this difficult time. Please heal the baby and give the doctors wisdom to know what to do next. Amen.

There is no more frustrating state than having a loved one, especially a child, in need and knowing it’s largely beyond your control. This family has far too much experience with that already. Sending prayers for faith and a full recovery.

WTH, can't this man's (and his family's) life be free of some major obstacles for once?

 

Heard Jim on Eric Wood's podcast recently speaking about his soon to arrive first grandchild, looking and sounding so healthy, so happy.   Put me in a great mood.

 

As I was thinking of all of the tragedy and huge obstacles he has had in his post football life, and how he/they have overcome them. I realized how amazing this new life would be for Jim and his family.

 

Hopefully that still becomes the case.

Baby Bean’s surgery was this morning:

 

"Little Brave Bean’s procedure is scheduled for 7am tomorrow morning,“ Jim Kelly posted Tuesday night. ”He is so strong and courageous. And his life has already changed our lives forever.

 

“We are standing on the unshakable truth that God is the One who created our strong and courageous grandson…the One who formed him, knows him, and loves him even more than we do. We are holding on to every promise He has spoken in His Word — because even in this heart-wrenching pain, we believe HE is faithful."

 

“This road has brought us to our knees… There have been moments when tears wouldn’t stop. Moments when all we could do was cry out in anger, anguish, and pain. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for God’s hand in every detail today… for highly skilled and compassionate doctors and nurses… and for every single prayer that’s been lifted on our behalf.

Today was a victory!

To God be all the glory!

But this is just the beginning — and we humbly ask you to PLEASE KEEP PRAYING as the healing journey begins.

Our continued prayer is that Little Bean’s body will begin to heal and adjust to all that took place this morning… that his body will strengthen… and that, in time, he’ll be able to come off the ventilator and be able to go home.

We are trusting God for strength, for restoration, and for many little miracles in the days ahead.

Please also cover Parker and Erin in prayer. They are physically and emotionally exhausted — yet holding onto gratitude, hope, and deep faith in the One who holds their precious baby boy.

I was wondering, what happened. Just keep praying for this little guy pretty normal to be on a ventilator at that age after probably a long surgery from the sounds of it.

I would say maybe the neonatal unit at the hospital, or if this is some condition, a charity that will help it. Might need to wait for more news to come out. But I'm ready to give multiples of 12!
