I agree with everything you said- but rather than saying it’s a fair assessment, I’d throw in a fair assessment based on projections.

If Bosa stays healthy (BIG if)  and the rookies can show they belong, I think we could be a top 5 DL.

Rousseau, Ed, Sanders, Bosa

Hoecht, Epenesa, Jackson, soloman

Daquan, Ogunjobi, Walker.

Not sure if there’s a defensive line in the NFL with that kind of depth.

Exactly, giving any "credit"to Bosa now is really a stretch, Von Miller 2.0 and pray I am wrong.

Could be.  Just hope he avoids a major injury that hampers him in the playoffs.

Hoecht and Ogunjobi should be big time additions. I know the suspensions suck but they're nice vet additions,  Hoecht has potential to be really good long term but ultimately these rookies will be the deciding factor,  I love the moves.

Lost nobody of significance and added a ton of potential

Any chance that the Hoechst and Ogunjobi suspensions get reviewed and possibly cut?

Bills being 5th is kinda bizarre tbh.  Rousseau and Oliver are plus starters but not superstars. Is this based on rookies?

PFF has been gushing about the Bills defensive acquisitions. They really liked the Hoecht acquisition and think Bosa even if he just gives the Bills 10-12 games those games will be a big positive. They also think the draft depth and Larry O acquisition make the defensive line fairly deep.

Pff is such a ***** show, every time they open their mouths / post something, they reinforce the reasons so many football fans just laugh at them, they are just another group of click bait talking heads,

Bills had 12 players on the injury list going into last year's conference championship game .. 8 on defense

Wade Phillips isnt making any miracles out of that lol

We were as healthy as we will ever be last year. Given the previous few seasons it would be a miracle to be in the same position. 100% health is not coming.
