Simply a brilliantly executed strike.

Immensely difficult to coordinate all of these players, and there were so many.

Exposes the comment made here last week that there was no interaction between the Pentagon and the WH.

I remember reading that and shaking my head at the gross ignorance that claim.

Just the tanking plan alone must have been incredible complicated as well as the timing of the "sweep" packages to clear the way and ensure the weapon deliverers were not engaged. Deconflicting many strike axis and precise timing of so many separate packages.

I am looking forward to a detailed explanation of the scope.

In the meantime, I sure hope the B2's get back to Knob Noster MO. safely.

Well done.

Going ad hominem is you giving up.  And proving you have no logical reply.

What am I replying to? I tend to think he’s an idiot and that other poster laps him like he’s wheelchair bound holding a boulder. It’s clear as day regardless of what your political beliefs are. So it was kind of funny to see him be insulting towards that poster.

Objectively I thought it was terrible.  The focus was on Israel.  Mr. secular "Prince of Peace" bombed an adversary for the benefit of Israel, not as part of his "America First" approach.  And the "We love you God" line was just abhorrent.  Invoking God while starting a war and deporting people who look like God's son is simply wrong.

Exactly.  Everyone who does business with this guy eventually gets burned.

when I heard his retort about God I screamed at my TV WTAF do YOU actually know about God.

By their fruits you will know them.

and people wonder why a person has the GALL to be upset that bombs were dropped on Iran and we are smack dab in the middle of WAR people. Yes War. He did this on his own.

deny it all  you want. SMH we are at War ************'s

I ******* hate war. Yes Im a HATER OF WAR. And if Iran regime does change and we get out of this mess unscathed I will bow down and kiss his *** and admit I was wrong

Brilliant retort! Super profound! Much logic! Many insight!

Yes, a guess from a random online MAGA Carolina bumpkin carries the same approximate weight as an estimate from a peer-reviewed publication in the world’s most prestigious medical journal.

And yes, Trump certainly did a lot to help dispel that mean-spirited TACO label. Proving people wrong who say mean things about you is the most important component of foreign policy. Careful, measured analyses of the long-term consequences of one’s actions is for soy boys, women, and the LGBTQ+. MANLY MEN bomb sh!t and scream, “America! F*ck yeah!” in any nearby faces of brown-skinned people with funny-sounding names.

I am STILL WAITING, by the way, for any evidence that Iran’s nuclear program posed an IMMINENT threat to Israel and the United States. Perhaps one of you warmongering PPP’ers, replete with MIC stocks but totally devoid of the physical fitness to serve in battle, will step up to the plate in this regard??

Kay it is always good to read you. I am so ******* torn because on one hand if IF this war action  does effectively  oust the current regime in Iran FOR HE IRANIAN people I will CELEBRATE. Not that he put us smack dab in the middle of war though.

so Im torn.

I don't pretend to have all the answers like a lot of the PPP heros down in here

We might be at war. If Iran just has a little face saving attack and then goes quietly then this kind of blows over. On the other hand, if Iran attacks oil tankers in the gulf, drops missiles down on one or more of our bases killing American service members, then it gets complicated.

Kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop. Trump has made it clear regime change is not in the cards, so the Mullahs have nothing to worry about on that front. How do they percieve that? As a free pass to attack, or as a relief they are safe and draw back to regroup. We are in a holding pattern here...

🤷‍♂️

President Trump asserted that Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facilities were “completely and totally obliterated” by American strikes. But this month, Iran claimed that it had another enrichment site “in a secure and invulnerable location,” with installation of centrifuges to begin immediately.

The announcement, by the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, came on June 12 — immediately after Iran was censured by the International Atomic Energy Agency’s board of governors for failing to meet its obligations for transparency under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty.

“The new site is fully constructed and located in a secure, invulnerable location,” Mr. Eslami said. “As soon as centrifuge installation and setup are complete, enrichment will begin.”

His announcement was a surprise, and so far there has been no confirmation of his claim nor any official indication of where any new site would be. Western intelligence agencies have not assessed the veracity of the claim, and there was little public reaction to his assertion from the International Atomic Energy Agency or foreign governments.

The site has been under construction for several years, and Iran has not given the agency access to it. “They are telling us, ‘It’s none of your business,’” the agency’s head, Rafael M. Grossi, told reporters in April.

Presumably this new site, which would have been Iran’s third, is also underground, like the Fordo and Natanz sites bombed overnight. But it is not clear whether any centrifuges have already been installed there, or even if it is as ready as Mr. Eslami said it was.

David Albright, of the Institute for Science and International Security, has written that the new site is likely south of Natanz, under Kuh-e Kolang Gaz La, a mountain nearly a mile above sea level — and which is nearly a half-mile taller than Fordo mountain.

The site appears to be meant for large-scale centrifuge installation, Mr. Albright said. If operational with the newest centrifuges, Mr. Albright judged that Iran could produce enough highly enriched uranium for 19 nuclear weapons within three months.

Iran also announced then, as part of its response, that it would replace older centrifuges at Fordo with the most modern type, but again, it is not clear whether it had done so before the bombing.

I’m no warmonger, but it seems clear to me that Iran was viewed as an imminent threat to the safety of…the world.  I say this not because  bombs were dropped, but because the international community seems quite fixated on Iran not developing nuclear weapons.  Yes, it was possible to sit back, wait another year, or two, or five, or to allow Iran to develop their weapons program.  At the risk of repeating an earlier point, the reality is we don’t know what intelligence analysis revealed and at some point, hold your nose and trust, or hold your nose and criticize, each of which leaves us in the same place.  I understand your perspective and guess we’ll have to see.

Off the top of my head….Costa Rica.  Argentina. Dominican Republic. Columbia.  Guyana.

Like with Iraq? Oh!

Iran can make a big noise if they simply drive up oil prices and Trump has to go in deeper. Hopefully they just go quietly

Stay tuned!

It was too depressing to write this last night, after we got off air, so I went to bed.

But, it needs to be said by more Democrats: this was not an impeachable offense,

and Trump did not need congressional approval for one precision attack under

the circumstances, just as Obama did not when striking Bin Laden.

Why can’t our Party just say it’s great we achieved the objective and destroyed

Iran’s nuclear sites, god bless the soldiers who carried this out and made it home safely,

god bless our country, military, allies, and we look forward to a full intel briefing. .

If one must then assert Congressional authority at the moment, add that any

escalation will require congressional approval.

And if you must, express concern for where this may go and what might come next.

But, for so many in my Party to knee jerk with unhinged calls for impeachment -

and sadly omit in their statement support for Iran not having nuclear weapons,

which has been a principle of our Party for 40 years -is truly TDS.

Yes, exactly like Iraq…that’s why you have to hold your nose.  And yes, hopefully they go quietly, though they could have done that already.

So, it IS a war then? Good to know.

Iran said they have a war before curtailing there Nuclear program, so we simply finished the war before they could start it. Truly how spectacular is your TDS that you defend the indefensible Iranian regime?
