Well, even in my centrist mind, this shows why Trump got votes. 

Sanctuary cities are a curse, and my mind illegal.

While handling of these situations are complicated, and I do not support trumps handling of the deportation situation, it does openly prove the total failure of Bidens administration border policies, and AOC type politician failure to grasp reality. 

Violent protests are not an act of oppression, they are an act of culture. Culture that is imported. There were thousands of protests in the 60s and 70s that were non-violent, which was led by a different culture.

These optics from LA are so insanely bad for the left.

 

Im someone who’s somewhat uncomfortable with mass deporting non-violent, non-drug dealing illegal immigrants who have been here for, say, a decade or more and haven’t committed any crimes beyond entering here illegally or overstaying their visa. 
 

Then I see stuff like this and I realize we have a very serious assimilation problem in this country and the impulse to “take our country back” arises. 
 

Maybe, after the intentional flooding of our country, by the Biden Admin, this is a necessary evil. 
 

I discussed this with a few people last night who typically vote Democrat … and they, to my surprise, without hesitation.. said some variation of “get them out”. 
 

Seeing people attack ICE/Police, while waving foreign flags is radicalizing .. and not just for right of center folks.

What ICE is doing is evil yes, but not necessary. Never was. Their solution of violence, kidnappings, and midnight abductions is what a third-world country does. 

 

There was no "intentional" flooding of the country. We are (were) the shining city on the hill, a place for the world's poor to get a better life. 

 

Instead, your kind zip tied them, tear gassed them, and sent them to Africa.

SBA Moving Regional Office Out of L.A. Over City’s Refusal to Work with ICE:
‘If a City Won’t Protect It’s People, We Won’t Stay’

Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Kelly Loeffler revealed that the SBA would be moving its Regional Office out of Los Angeles after Mayor Karen Bass refused to cooperate with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.

 

In a post on X, Loeffler responded to a post in which Bass said she was “deeply angered” after hearing “reports of federal immigration enforcement actions” being taken in the city. In Bass’s statement, she said her office was in “close coordination with immigrant rights community organizations” and would “not stand for this.” “Los Angeles is openly refusing to cooperate with ICE – siding with illegal aliens over American citizens and small businesses,”

Trump is following the authoritarian playbook very well. 

 

He's successfully created an "enemy" in all people of Hispanic or Latin American origin. He's pushed them with his ICE gestapo to fight back. It works because old people and rurals are terrified of change. They fear anything different.

 

Now, he's got a route to start crushing protests with the military. This will lead to more protests, which Trump can then use more troops on. Eventually, he's going to have a route to use the Insurrection Act and really crack down. 

 

How funny that the party of "small government" cheers it on! 

 

It will be rough. But liberalism will win. It always does.
