Einstein's Dog Posted Saturday at 02:27 PM Posted Saturday at 02:27 PM Looks like there is a preseason Bills at Tampa game on Saturday 8/23/25 at 7:30. Ticketmaster has tickets priced $100+. I'm obviously not falling for that, but how much do you reasonably expect to pay for something like this? Would this be preseason game #2 or #3? Any chance of any starters? The 7:30 start time seems a little tricky, leaving around 10 after tailgating for hours but such is life - otherwise there would be some serious heat to deal with. Good opportunity to practice some day drinking/tailgating prior to Miami for us older Floridian fans. I'm thinking about doing this, any suggestions and tips? Thanks. Quote
Bigvinny Posted Saturday at 03:13 PM Posted Saturday at 03:13 PM It's the third preseason game which means hardly any starters will play and also it's a rare case that we play tampa in the regular season. Quote
RiotAct Posted Saturday at 03:30 PM Posted Saturday at 03:30 PM you’ll be able to get tickets for free (or a few bucks at most) I would imagine… maybe join a couple of the largest Bucs facebook groups and be on the lookout in the weeks leading up to the game. Ain’t nobody gonna want to sit outside in that heat. 2 Quote

Aussie Joe Posted Sunday at 04:13 AM Posted Sunday at 04:13 AM You can’t put a price on watching Mitch Trubisky play 3 Quote
frostbitmic Posted Sunday at 12:46 PM Posted Sunday at 12:46 PM You'll pay more for parking than to get into the game, maybe more for a beer in the stadium than a ticket. If it's the final preseason game you'll get to see Mike White before he goes to the PS. Quote

I went to a September game in Jacksonville about 20 years ago. I remember paying $250/seat and realizing we were the only people left in our row. It was so hot the Bills were rotating the OLine. We had to join everyone else in the concourse and watch the game on little monitors behind the concession stands. After that I turned down free tickets in September in Florida. 1 Quote

If Tampa is like Buffalo, tickets will be going for $6 days before kickoff. 2 Quote

Tampa's fanbase is much worse so tickets should be even cheaper. I'm definitely holding out. Becomes a question of whether starters will play at all or not. Used to be last preseason none played, but now with just 3 games the routine may be different. It is two weeks before the season. 1 Quote

machine gun kelly Posted Sunday at 07:17 PM Posted Sunday at 07:17 PM I wouldn’t bother. If you’re not from Tampa, you may not know per NOOA Tampa is the most humid city in the US, because of the shallow Tampa Bay, 92-96 degrees everyday, and btw it rains daily in the summer, and lastly our hockey team is called the lightning because Tampa has the second most lightning in the world. You could give me the tix and I live 15-20 minutes from the stadium and wouldn’t go. I made it a rule years ago, I won’t go to a Bucs game before November. Sorry if I’m not helpful for you pal, but just wouldn’t do it. 1 Quote

I don’t mean to be a downer, but we have pics of me and my sons after a game 50 miles down the road in Sarasota, and I’m wetter than they are! That, and the unknown Lightning delays that can go on for hours. My kid’s in the game, I came on the bus……there are no good options there as we gather in the steamy huts looking for shelter from the downpour and occasional lightning bolt to make everyone jerk a little bit. Sorry, I thinking I’m just dredging up some old scars. Those memories are just the few nightmares. 😊 . Edited Sunday at 10:11 PM by Augie Quote
Beach Posted Sunday at 10:00 PM Posted Sunday at 10:00 PM thanks, I was also looking at going to this game. but only for real cheap. 1 Quote

I live north of Tampa... you aint a lyin... its not only viciously hot... but its air you can wear... you can literally watch it move as you walk... Early September is like our Jan/Feb in Buffalo... you can go outside.. but in a limited capacity.. and on the 8th day God created AC... one other item of note... early Sept is PEAK Hurricane season and even if you dont get a direct hit the effect can stretch the entire coastline... 1 Quote
