I never actually liked these magazines.  But if there was someone I found hot on the cover I’d be all over it.  Case and point

I used to have free subscriptions to both FHM and Maxim. Publishers would offer it for free so they could pump up their numbers to charge advertisers more. FHM folded first, then Maxim went too upscale for my tastes.

That's awesome.  I started to like her after she had a brief role in that 70s Show.

I was pleasantly surprised to she was in this Starter commercial back in the day..... keeping with the nostalgia.  I had a Knicks and I think even a Celtics Starter jacket a long time ago.

Starter made the best sports jerseys and hats.  New Haven CT was Starters home.  They were hot for a couple years.  Then they lost their sports licensing rights.  I have a few Starter Bills hats and Hoodies, and a Starter Sabres sweatshirt, and they are sweet.  My favorite Bills gear

Listening to WKBW radio in the late ‘60’s was my introduction to top 40 radio. FM radio wasn’t a thing. I couldn’t do it justice explaining just how great a summertime experience listening to ‘KB was. If you listened then you know.

It was a premier powerhouse rock-n- roll station up and down the east coast.

They had a powerful transmitter and it truly was heard up and down the coast.

Now that transmitter is wasted on sports talk radio, blech.

Wikipedia:

Thus, while WWKB can be heard across most of the eastern half of North America at night, its signal is spotty only 20 miles (32 km) southwest of Buffalo. Local residents remain largely unaware that the antenna array is internationally famous for sending WWKB's nighttime signal to all over Nordic countries on a regular basis. The directional nighttime signal has resulted the station being commonly heard in parts of Finland and Sweden using special DX equipment during winter months. A group of Scandinavian radio reception enthusiasts visited for conference at a Camp Road motel, to view the transmitter array, apparently to photograph and measure it.

Loved the weather outside on Channel 7 when they were located at their original studio on Main Street.  The fire station was next door and if they got a call when the weather was live the siren would drown out whoever was doing the weather.

Tom Jolls used the white grease pencil to write the temps, etc (before video graphics) on the board ad on hot humid nights, it would melt before he was finished. On night he is standing outside with no board and had to announce that the board had blown away in the windstorm the night before.

Once Clip Smith was doing the weather and suddenly  dived out of view.  There was someone driving down Main Street in a gunfight with another driver.
