muppy Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I do tend to gravitate towards female artists. I love Bonnie Raitt. Always have always will. Let me count the ways singer- guitar player- slide guitar player- sexy as hell- her signature hair- who she has played with and covered and she's feisty! this is a classic John Prine song she did way back in the day. I love her bell sleeve shirt in this video she is one hottie patottie. Her career had its ups and downs. She persevered and now a musical icon. I could spam this thread with her covers but I won't. this is a sweet one Quote

Draconator Posted May 11 Posted May 11 (edited) How about a band that covers itself, and improves! Rush when they released 2112 in 1976 performed it in the key of E. In 1996 when they performed the entire 1st side on the Test for Echo tour, performed it in the key of C. And it sounds hella better in the key of C. Edited May 11 by Draconator Quote
shrader Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Any Pearl Jam cover of the Who is always good. There’s honestly too many to name at this point. Quote
