Expand Okay 'll check it out but if it doesn't do anything 1 why is the NFL making it available & why are players using it ? And i don't know if you remember Kelso was famous for his helmet which he wore for the last 5 years of his career and i just read that he had 2 bad concussions which the doctor told him to quit playing football before changing to his padded helmet . Then Kelso him self in the interview i read said "Take a padded helmet and slam it on your knee a couple times then take just a normal helmet and hit your knee a couple times with it you will be in a lot of pain" . So i'll take his word on the subject and all of the players this year like Hamlin, Rapp, and many others in the NFL that it helps over a fans perspective . And the article was on Buffalo Rumblings which is a opinion article but is named - On NFL Concussions and Mark Kelso's Giant Helmet, if you would care to read his thoughts . Quote

K D Posted January 28 Posted January 28 When I played there was no such thing as concussions. If you got your "bell rung" you would get back up and get back in the game unless you were a wimp and then you went and cried for your mommy 1 Quote
