However, without getting into what Trump was or wasn't able to accomplish with the border during his term, no none of it matters in terms of his re-election. Election week could easily have become election fortnight until the necessary "votes" were counted. Then it would have been the super duper most secure election in US history. Biden is so afraid of losing votes in November that he does whatever he is told to do to salvage support from demographics who do not support his re-election.
