ChiGoose
How do they think this is going to play out? Seems like a bad idea that's only going to hurt the GOP. 1
The Frankish Reich
Ken Buck/R-CO used to be one of the really hardline Republicans in the House. I just heard that he expressed disapproval of the impeachment inquiry, and that the new Trumpist hard right is putting a full-court press on him. If they can't get a guy like him on board, this doesn't seem promising.

The Frankish Reich
Just now, Tenhigh said: I think they don't have quite enough yet. Agreed. I'm on record here as saying that the investigations of Hunter and what role Joe Biden played in his dealings is both necessary and appropriate. And that should continue. Officially sliding this into an "impeachment Inquiry" is neither necessary or appropriate at this time. It may be in the future, but not now.

The Frankish Reich
When you look more closely at this, it is simply McCarthy rebranding the ongoing House investigations into Hunter as an "impeachment Inquiry. Hey, whatever it takes to get Marge and Lauren and their ilk to pass a budget resolution.

These are hard times, people don't trust politicians, faith in congress is at an all-time low and before too long, the Russians will set upon us (again). We have to pull together, and as we know, there is nothing to fear if there is nothing to see.
