That was the best HOF induction speech I've ever heard. "...It has been written throughout my career, that toughness is my trademark. Well the toughest person I've ever met in my life, is my hero, my soldier, my son, Hunter! I love you buddy! Thank you Canton, thank you Buffalo, and God Bless!" I'm not crying, you're crying! 1

It's amazing to me that Jim Kelly and Hunter were both born on Valentine's Day. 37 years apart. And that Hunter would be 25 now.
BillsfaninChicago
20 years ago it had been 5 years since Jim Kelly retired. This has been another edition of Man I Feel Old Today. Edited August 4, 2022 by BillsfaninChicago
Success
I wish Kelly had a Lombardi - he earned it. But in a way, the "lost 4 in a row" thing adds to the meaning of "Kelly tough," which is a phrase I always keep close and try to live by. He's really an inspiration, with all of the setbacks he's had and just the way he handles them. He laid a pretty good blueprint for how to approach life.
