Maine School 'Socially Transitioned' 13-year-old Girl Without Her Parents Knowledge

The transgender cult is not only an assault on biology and objective reality, but it’s also an assault on children, families, and parents. There’s a reason why the radical left opposes the use of the word “groomer” when we discuss Drag Queen Story Hours, transgender closets, and porn in school libraries; it’s because the word is accurate. They don’t want us to believe that it’s happening, but it is.

 

Young children are being targeted by the movement and encouraged to “transition” without the knowledge or consent of their parents. These stories are becoming more common. The latest story comes out of Damariscotta, Maine, where a mom found out that a school social worker had been secretly assisting her daughter to “socially transition” to live as a boy.

 

“In an emotionally charged address to the school board, Amber Lavigne said a Central Lincoln County School System (CLCSS) social worker at Great Salt Bay Community School in Damariscotta provided a chest binder to her daughter — a gender transitioning device the employee encouraged the young girl to keep secret from her parents,” reports The Maine Wire. “Lavigne said she’d never met the social worker — Samuel Roy — and had no idea school employees were secretly working to put her daughter on the path to gender transition. Other officials in the school also participated in the young girl’s social transition, using masculine pronouns to address her.”

 

Lavigne knew her daughter saw a school social worker, but she had never met Roy. According to the article, she said the breast binder was provided to her daughter two weeks after she met Roy.

 

“Under no circumstances should she have been provided a chest binder without the knowledge of her parents,” Lavigne said at a school board meeting. “A social worker at the school encouraged a student to keep a secret from her parents. This is the very definition of child predatory sexual grooming. Predators work to gain a victims’ trust by driving a wedge between them and their parents.”

 

Chris Coleman, a 4th-grade teacher in the district, spoke after Lavigne and likened attacks on the school’s policy to attacks on students.

 

“I’m here because members of our community, and perhaps some from afar, have decided that our transgender students do not deserve to feel safe at school,” he claimed.

 

Stories like this one are becoming increasingly common as school districts across the country have adopted similar practices amid the national debate on transgender ideology and minors. Schools are teaching impressionable kids that “transitioning” to the opposite gender will solve their problems — while keeping their efforts secret from the child’s parents.

 

This is child abuse, plain and simple. When I was in school, kids couldn’t even get aspirin from the school nurse if they had a headache without direct consent from their parents. Yet now, schools are pushing radical left-wing gender ideology on kids, helping them damage their healthy bodies to recruit them into the transgender cult.

 

The transgender movement hurts society as a whole. It preys on young children and hurts women in particular.

 

As biological males are permitted to participate against women in sports despite their physical and biological advantages, the erasure of biological sex deprives women of opportunities. Additionally, the fact that men are increasingly permitted to use women’s restrooms and locker rooms robs women and girls of their privacy and dignity.

Back in February, ESPN published the article “University of Pennsylvania Swimmer Lia Thomas Makes Her Ivy League Championships Debut in 800-Yard Freestyle Relay.” In it, the outlet observed Lia’s largesse from the Lord:

 

University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas made her Ivy League championships debut on Wednesday night, leading off for the Quakers in the 800-yard freestyle relay. … Thomas enters the Ivy League championships as the top seed in the 200-yard, 500-yard and 1,650-yard freestyle events. She posted some of the best times in the country in all three events at the Zippy Invitational in Akron, Ohio, in December.

 

Meanwhile, some critics claimed there was a peculiarity at play: In the world of transgender sports, you never hear of an alternatively-identifying biological female switching teams.

 

But just in time for the new year comes Iszac Henig, a Yale senior who competed in the men’s division in November.

 

Now the fallopian-tubed freestyler is swimming with athletes who produce their own reproductive swimmers, and one might say it’s a different ball game.

 

As noted by the New York Post, “As a high-schooler, Henig…competed in the 2016 Olympic trials and was one of the top 100 female swimmers in the country two years later.”

 

Iszac — who had a double mastectomy in 2021 — finished last year as an all-American womanly water warrior. Fast-forward past eight months of hormones, and the revised racer contended in November in the men’s division — perhaps topless for the first time at a meet.

Far-left ideology continued to make a mockery of Western civilization over the weekend. Finland, which hosts the European Figure Skating Championships, decided it’d be a great idea to hold an opening ceremony that featured a “transgender” figure skater.

 

 

Make sure you actually watch the video, because the joke here is not just that this man that is pretending to be a woman fell down. It’s the entire performance. As the clip rolls, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry because it looks like he’s never stepped into an ice rink before. If you strapped skates on some random hobo, I’m pretty sure they could do the same job.

 

As someone quipped on Twitter in response, it’s like watching one of those videos where a football team lets the young kid with cancer score a TD. Except in this case, this isn’t a young kid with cancer. It’s a full-grown man living out his mental illness for all the world to see. Worse, that mental illness is being affirmed as good and proper by entire nations.

 

How did we get to this point? That’s a rhetorical question, of course. I think most, especially those of us on the right who warned about this stuff, know exactly how we got to this point. For years, the left kept pushing more and more insanity under the banner of LGBT. Some of us said, “you know, maybe redefining marriage instead of just keeping civil unions a separate matter isn’t such a great idea?” We were labeled crazy bigots for having basic religious beliefs on the topic and opining that it was a slippery slope.

 

And naturally, things didn’t stop there. We went from “just leave us alone” to “you will affirm everything we do or be punished” in less than a decade, and that’s taken its most militant form yet with transgender ideology. You will be made to call a man a woman, including those that like to strip tease in front of kids. If you don’t, you will be extricated from polite society. That’s already started happening, and things will only get worse from here.

 

As I’ve said before, this only stops when enough say enough. Do not allow this stuff to be forced on you. Stand by your principles. Accept nothing short of the full rejection of this counterfactual lunacy.
