I think the bottom is where most of the injustice happens.  There are many more regular people in court rooms every day than ex politicians or politicians kids.  been a character witness a couple times.  My wife just showed up at the trial of a part time employee that was facing big trouble for a minor offense.  The judge listened to her and gave probation.  The sad people I saw in court the times I've been there were really pathetic (and mostly really stupid) for the most part.  And the rulings seemed reasonable, as little as I know about the law.  There are other factors at play here.  An ex prez with a rabid, violent following and a moronic son of the current prez.  Of course they're gonna be treated differently.  They shouldn't be but just are.  There are cultural considerations and questions of civil unrest re trump's trial.  At the very top, things are different even if you are a scumbag.  The rest of your argument is bs...

The difference is the injustices at the bottom inflict more severe punishment while the President's son gets a pass because his dad and his enforcers and bagholders are as crooked as they come.  Just the opposite.  Rationalize it all you want.  The FBI and DOJ are a disgrace. The President used his office for personal gain.  I recall somebody telling me the other day that's what some other guy was guilty of and he got impeached for a phone call.  Now that's the real BS here.  At some point Karma will extract its vengeance.  And I will smile.

I know that! I asked if they had proof or just allegations. Just like you do when anyone brings up the biden crime family. I totally understand anyone can accuse anyone of anything. Just like you leftists accused Trump of russian collusion. Plus a myriad of other bogus charges. I do understand, I’m not sure if you do.
BTW, you never responded to my message about having a beer together. I wonder if you would have a beer together with me if the situation arises.

Absolutely west side. If you’re ever in the inland Empire area hit me up.

The Intentionally Provocative Hunter Biden Plea Deal.

Biden apologists have tried to minimize that transaction as a “lie and try” case, which they say is often not prosecuted. But such non-prosecution (though it shouldn’t happen) occurs because of what you’d infer from the “try” part — i.e., the liar got caught and failed to obtain the gun. Hunter’s case, to the contrary, is a lie and succeed case. He got the gun.

What’s more, he was then seen playing with it while cavorting with an “escort” (see the New York Post’s pictorial, if you’ve got the stomach for it).

Shortly afterwards, he and his then-paramour — Hallie Biden, the widow of his older brother — managed to lose the gun near a school (it was later found by someone else).

Those are the kinds of gun cases that get charged by the Justice Department even if the suspect hasn’t, in addition, committed tax felonies by dodging taxes on the millions of dollars he was paid, apparently for being named Biden. Yet after refusing for years to appoint a special counsel despite the five-alarm conflict of interest attendant to investigating the president’s son ( . . . and family . . . and the president himself), the Biden Justice Department is permitting Hunter Biden to dispose of the case with misdemeanor tax charges that will allow for a probation sentence, and diversion — essentially, no prosecution — on the gun felony that would result in imprisonment for most Americans who engaged in similar conduct.

Quite a deal.

Last week, Trump was flirting with 60 percent in GOP primary polling after being indicted, with a 45-point lead in some surveys. Democrats seem bound and determined to get him to 70.

The Hunter Biden ‘controlled demolition’ is complete

BY JONATHAN TURLEY

FTA:

The key was to get Hunter to plead to a couple of minor offenses with little or no jail time. The White House and the media could then declare the scandal over and insist that there is nothing more to discuss.

Of course, there is a great deal more to discuss. For critics, the plea agreement looks like rushing to the scene of a bank robbery and giving the getaway driver a ticket for double parking.

The House Oversight Committee has documented potentially millions in financial transfers from foreign sources to Biden family members. The labyrinth of LLC corporations and accounts used for the transfers seems designed to evade detection. Indeed, allegations from a trusted FBI source referenced payments that were being made to the Bidens without directly involving “the big guy.” That was the name allegedly used for President Biden after associates insisted that no one should use his name.

Attorney General Merrick Garland took the most important step in pulling off the controlled demolition by steadfastly refusing to appoint a special counsel.

Such an appointment would allow the release of a report that would detail the alleged corrupt practices of the Biden family and the knowledge and involvement of the president. It is the essential framing used in demolition to avoid broad blast effects.

The second key is the charge. In buildings, you have to use just enough explosives to take out supports to collapse the structure in on itself. In scandals, it comes down to the criminal charges. You need an assortment of minor charges to suggest equal justice without anything large enough to cause collateral damage to others. It also has to be minor enough to get Hunter to take one for the team.

The Hunter plea is the perfect charge load for the scandal. He will plead to a couple of misdemeanors on tax violations without addressing how he actually made this money. The gun charge looks like a serious threat for incarceration, but it is little more than a phantom felony count under which Hunter will be allowed to go into a diversion program and ultimately negate the violation.

Trump Pardons Roger Stone, Paul Manafort And Charles Kushner

President Trump issued dozens more pardons on Wednesday evening to many wealthy and well-connected convicts with ties to his innermost circles, including former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, Republican operative Roger Stone and Charles Kushner, the father-in-law of Ivanka Trump.

Manafort, who was sentenced to more than seven years in prison after being convicted of bank and tax fraud in addition to other crimes, was released in May from a minimum-security federal lockup and moved to home confinement over concerns about the coronavirus.

But days before Stone, who is Trump's longtime friend and political confidant, was to report to prison in July, the president commuted the 40-month prison sentence.

well orchestrated and executed.  The useful idiots will sigh, laugh, and shrug and say oops he missed some filings and is paying the price.

they don’t want to know the rest of the story, they don’t ever want to think about why those payments are happening to begin with.

Actually, the vast majority of people on the left don’t give a rats ass about Hunter Biden. If he’s dirty, get him.

Just remember that it was a Trump prosecutor who drove this case and this is all he found.

That is the whole point, none of you are intellectually curious enough to scratch your head and ask ‘why’ is this dumbass crack head is getting paid all this money to begin with??  Wtf is he selling ?? What possible reason was he seated on the board of a Ukrainian pg&e?

Tax evasion was the thing they ‘found’, on Capone too, I suppose he too was otherwise a stand up businessman?

It's funny to hear them parrot the "Shokin was fired because he wasn't looking into corruption"...and then no corruption was found involving him or anyone else after he was fired.  And they say Trump has a cult...

He’s getting paid because his last name is Biden. It’s gross, but that doesn’t make it a crime.

None of the “evidence” so far establishes that Joe Biden was involved. The quality of the accusations at this point is about as convincing as the Trump pee tape.

Ironic as the pee pee tape was ran by the left as fact and used to spy on the opposition party.   All while knowing it was opposition research.

it’s gross, corrupt, unethical at a minimum… and yes corruption is really really hard to prosecute as a crime, especially when political operatives are careful.

But that shouldn’t stop us all from seeing what’s happening and rejecting it unilaterally.

So many of these lifelong politicians have no good explanation for their immense wealth.

and we all absolutely know, companies aren’t paying hunter just for his last name unless that last name translates to something worth all that money.
