January 6th 2021 FEDSURRECTION: The Corrupt Biden Regime: White House, FBI, DOJ, media, committee

It's interesting that so many J6 prisoners are being held pretrial without bail in a venue where they have 0.0% chance of winning.

Nah, couldn't be political. Not at all. ^_^

Strawman. Check.

Believing what the prosecution says without question. Check.

Doubt the defendant who has been denied his day in court for 18 months and is absolutely being treated as a political prisoner. Check.

Same BS different day from you. I'm shocked.

I'm sure his wife is making all of this up too. Third world gulag treatment. And you support it.

Julie describes the event as Nichols just minding his own business who was then compelled to action by the brutality of police. Its exactly as I laid it out. Innocent bystander trying to save a little old lady who was apparently on a lot of methamphetamine.  A quote from the Julie masterpiece you linked:

So, what on Earth turned two decorated veterans with a history of helping people in crisis into “insurrectionists” who attacked police officers? It was what they saw when they approached the tunnel around 3 p.m. on January 6. “They hear people screaming in pain and crying for help—women and old men are bloodied and injured,” McBride wrote in a motion seeking Nichols’ release. “Training and instincts kick in and they head to the tunnel, wondering if an accident had happened and if other people were even more seriously injured.”

Thats a fanciful story and unfortunately it yet again minimizes his actions and omits most of the facts of what he did that day and why he is facing charges.

Additional photographs and video obtained during the investigation show NICHOLS and HARKRIDER standing on the ledge of a U.S. Capitol window that is broken, with NICHOLS holding a bullhorn and a crowbar. In a video obtained online, NICHOLS can be identified in the crowd at the U.S. Capitol based on his appearance and distinct clothing, and he can be seen and heard yelling into the bullhorn in the direction of the large crowd, “If you have a weapon, you need to get your weapon!” As shown in another video, NICHOLS can be seen and heard yelling, “This is the second revolution right here folks! […] This is not a peaceful protest.” Additional video shows that, close in time to these events, at least dozens

Additional video evidence shows NICHOLS near an entrance to the U.S. Capitol building in a large crowd actively forcing entry into the building, which was guarded by U.S. Capitol Police. During the video, a screenshot of which is shown below, NICHOLS can be seen taking a large, red aerosol canister from another person in the crowd and spraying an unknown agent, believed based on its appearance to be OC/pepper spray, in the direction of the entrance into the U.S. Capitol building, where federal law enforcement officers were engaged in the performance of official duties, that is, seeking to restrain the mob of individuals who were forcing entry. Figures 8 and 9 below are still shots from the OC/pepper spray video, with arrows indicating NICHOLS’ clothing and the suspected OC/pepper canister. of individuals were actively forcing their way inside the U.S. Capitol building through an entrance in the immediate vicinity of NICHOLS and HARKRIDER.

Believing everything Julie tells you is really working out well. It is fun to watch you squirm and try to wriggle your way out of yet another untenable position and preserve what little dignity you have left.  Tossing out "strawman", total deflection, and appeals to emotion. Its unbecoming.

I don't care about his wife's sob story.  Did it tug on your heartstrings?  Dude was caught on tape, red handed and documented his crimes on social media.  Notice neither his lawyer or his wife deny any of the charges.  They just stick to the script that hes a veteran and couldn't possibly be an insurrectionist.  He's far from the only vet facing charges.  Jail sucks.  I would not advise pursuing a course of action that lands you there.

Start a prison reform thread and show some concern for the 2 million other people serving hard time in the country with the highest incarceration rates in the world.  Check out these political prisoners held without bail for years.

Well,  you certainly didn't think that the committee was going to act honestly ?     Did you ?

DOJ Fight With Jan. 6 Committee Bursts Into The Open (msn.com)

The Justice Department on Wednesday requested transcripts of all of the congressional Jan. 6 committee’s depositions, writing in a seemingly frustrated tone that the committee’s “failure” to grant access to the transcripts was complicating the department’s ability to investigate and prosecute those who engaged in criminal conduct related to the insurrection.

“The Select Committee’s failure to grant the Department access to these transcripts complicates the Department’s ability to investigate and prosecute those who engaged in criminal conduct in relation to the January 6 attack on the Capitol,” the letter stated, after noting that the DOJ couldn’t “compel” Congress to provide the transcripts on its own.

It's interesting that yesterday, while discussing allegations by Tibs of wrongdoing by Representative Loudermilk, another posted offered this a similar story about the disconnect between the DOJ and the committee as proof that Loudermilk was being investigated by the DOJ.

Of course, the link said nothing about Loudermilk, likely because Loudermilk's actions were already cleared by the Capitol police per a story I linked.   However, in a nugget of gold mixed in with garbage that poster is know for producing, the link indicated the DOJ investigation was being 'hampered' by the committee's actions.  With this story, it's a "failure to grant...access".

One can only wonder about who and what are being investigated by the DOJ.  It certainly could be that they flipped Loudermilk and it's all smoke screen.  Still....it sounds an awful lot like the 1/6 dem committee is stonewalling or obstructing the necessary criminal investigation into this matter.

Colbert's staff should bre arrested today  and held for 18 months like the the people being held for J6.  That also includesRobert Smiegel,  who is Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.  They broke the same laws last night in  the Congressional office building.

You forgot the " " around insurrectionist.

Maybe you're not aware, but in context insurrectionist is not the same as "insurrectionist"

You seem a little peeved. Aren't we having fun here?

Ahhhhh the "gallows".

As I have pointed out to Billstime multiple times, it was a piece of show for the demonstration, not remotely to size to "hang" anyone.

But that doesn't stop those obsessed with the "narrative".........................including the fake committee.

There seems to be many on the left who remain unaware of the political shift that occurred in the GOP post 2016.

From the moment Trump won the GOP nomination the party spilt. You had traditional Republicans and then Rinos/Never Trumpers.

Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are and always have been squarely in the Rino/NeverTrump camp.

Rinos/NeverTrumpers oppose and hold in contempt Trump and his supporters every single bit as much as Democrats do.

So you can play word games and call this sham committee "bipartisan" all you wish. It's simply yet another example in a long line of examples of where you've been had, bamboozled, hoodwinked, duped, scammed etc..

The reality is that this committee is  uber partisan on the only issue that matters: Disdain for Trump and anyone who aligns with him.

This is why not only is it not working, it's backfiring. The majority of Americans are more likely to believe the opposite of whatever stories this committee weaves.

The January 6th committee is not going well. In the midst of immense hype and total media subservience, including having the first hearing simulcast in primetime across every major news network (except Fox News), things have fallen flat since the opening statement.

We’ve seen hearings postponed, the total number of hearings reduced, and most importantly, zero evidence of a vast, Trump-led conspiracy to attack the Capitol and execute a “coup” has been presented. To the extent that the committee has had any impact, it’s been to confirm the priors of too-online, beltway-dwelling liberals.

Most people simply aren’t paying attention, something confirmed by the latest ABC News/Ipsos poll. Though, as we’ll get to, the survey includes some less than stellar news for Donald Trump as well.

With only 34 percent of Americans closely following the hearings, it’s just not the big, game-changing production Democrats wanted it to be. And why would they be following it closely? Everything being presented was already known, and while members like Liz Cheney keep promising a final blow against the former president, it keeps not coming.

If the committee had such evidence of criminal activity, don’t you think they would have led with that during their primetime presentation? That they didn’t is indicative of how weak their case is. The January 6th committee exists as a political tool, meant to disqualify Trump from running in 2024. It was not constituted to hold a legitimate investigation, letting the chips fall where they may.

The Democrats’ Trump Obsession Will Do Them In

by David Catron

In 2020, despite gaining control of the White House and the Senate, the Democrats suffered a net loss of 13 seats in the House and a comprehensive down ballot drubbing. This was hardly a mandate for radical change. Yet, upon taking office, President Biden immediately reversed former President Trump’s successful energy policies and incentivized illegal immigrants to invade our southern border. Meanwhile, congressional Democrats collaborated with Biden to pass inflationary spending bills and embarked upon an unconstitutional crusade to convict Trump of fictitious crimes against the state.
