Thank you very much for the video  !! I totally agree medical cost is such a rip off !

I had a friend years ago the was going to have a operation on his neck area to repair a vertebrae (for the sake of conversation) his insurance price for the op was going to be like $20k he asked the Dr. if he paid cash what it would cost the Dr. said around half because of the insurance people marking it up for paper work.

My brother had brain cancer & he had to have multiple MRI's he got the bill & it was something like $18k a piece and he had 4 in 1 month i get it the equipment is expensive but Dammit ...

Then when you factor in that the gov't allows cancer causing chemicals to be used in our country every single day and by stopping these chemicals such as Round up or other wise known in other forms as Agent orange and then the sweeteners used in all kinds of soft drinks cancer could more than likely be much less in the world.

But lets keep them sick with all this crap so the $$ wheel can continue to spin & medical costs can stay high and big pharma can continue to flourish & put back door monies into our politicians pockets or should i say campaigns .

Ever see one of those medivac helicopters land on the highway to take somebody to the hospital after a bad car crash?  Wonder how much that costs?  It's all out of network.  You can send your kid to college for a couple years for less than the price of one ride to the hospital.

The US health care system is one big cost maximizing racket from one end to the other end of the care system.  Doctors, lawyers, and administrators make out well.  Nurses and other health care workers not so much.  And somebody's got to pay for two Tesla's, a nice Summer time getaway home, those country club memberships, and tennis lessons for the six year old.

Actually yes i have my cousin was hit on his motorcycle by a young girl that took a cousins car & because she was not allowed or didn't ask to take the vehicle & was higher than hawks feet my cousin couldn't get his insurance to cover it and couldn't sue the girl because she had no insurance .

So he had to pay for the helicopter and even though his insurance company did sue the car owners insurance they had a cap on it for what ever reason so he wound up paying for a lot of the cost out of his own pocket due to no fault of his .

Also they are not into curing you of disease that's why it's called a "Healthcare Practice" .

Wooo...you are totally correct on the cost of a chopper ride, but that's because they are expensive as hell to operate. The paramedic on the scene has to make a snap decision to either go slow and not have a huge charge for the injured person or if they can't wait save their lives by a super expensive flight. That's no ones fault, just how it is

I do know that before the "Affordable Health Care act" was implemented i was looking at buying insurance & the insurance that i was looking at getting was $280 a month & after the bill was passed the exact same coverage with in the program was $600+a month  . 🤔

And I’ll bet you couldn’t keep your doctor either.

When my wife had my 16 year old son she did not work a year and we got an insurance plan that cost $125 a month for her and him that was literally for only emergency type events. We negotiated a rate with our pediatrician and her doctor before hand to make sure they were fully able to be seen for normal things. That kind of thing does not exist anymore as far as I can tell.

My medivac ride in 2009 was $16k fwiw.  Not sure how much it’s gone up since then.

Rising health care costs are just the result of the current insurance racket, which the ACA did nothing to solve.

It seems to me the unfortunate reality is that most citizens view the availability of quality, low cost, low out of pocket health insurance as a high priority, but the willingness to pay for same as very low on their list.

Insurance can and should work, but in our system, it is set up to fail (or at least not work well for many, many, many people).

And i would imagine it is due to the implementation of the "Affordable Health Care Act" you also use to be able to go get insurance when ever you wanted to but now with every type of health insurance you have to sign up on certain dates only & if you miss it oh well tough S**T on you .

Again another great thing that was brought on by a past administration that was going to be so transparent but slammed that bill through before anyone could get a chance to read it let alone understand what was in it ...

That’s not even the biggest issue.

Insurance has to keep going up because it subsidizes all the no-work jobs in the health “care” industry. There’s a graph out there comparing hospital admin job numbers growth compared to medical doctors. Guess which line is exponential and which line is flat.

I had been saying all along during the ACA debates that ACA didn't even come close to addressing the problem.

And don't get me started on Medicare.......😡

I'm semi-retiring next month.  My comp will only be one paycheck a month.  We switched carriers and they deduct premiums two paychecks not one. So they will have to invoice me every month and I'll have to pay that second premium by check or hopefully ACH.  If for some reason I miss one premium they dump me and I have zero insurance until open enrollment.  What a mess that is.  I told the firm I am likely not the only person only getting comp one paycheck a month. They said they are looking into a "fix".   You mean you didn't think of this?

We just experienced the greatest, most accomplished and competent presidential administration who promised everything under the sun and delivered:

‘INSURANCE FOR EVERYBODY’

‘NO ONE WILL LOSE COVERAGE’

‘NOBODY WILL BE WORSE OFF FINANCIALLY’

‘GET RID OF ARTIFICIAL LINES’

‘NO CUTS … TO MEDICAID’

‘EVERYBODY’S GOING TO BE TAKEN CARE OF’

Oh, wait, who am I kidding?

Yah that wasn't Trump making all those promises that was Barack along with the promise of Transparency so that every member of congress could read the bills prior to them being voted on then trying to get passed but that didn't work out so good they just slammed them through & no one knew what exactly was in them.

Hey that sounds really familiar that must have been a learned action by this POTUS .

That’s who wrote the ACA… blantent example of good intentions being usurped by crooked corrupt politicians in broad daylight.
