I'm certain those Ukrainian Nazi militia fighters, the MSM will never mention exist, those that wern't KIA to this point, which form the core of the countries most experienced and battle hardened troops love trans people.

Just know, for blind, deaf and dumb war supporters.  In Ukraine, Nazi good. In  America, Nazi bad

The Federal Reserve on Wednesday drove up its benchmark policy rate — its third increase this year and its biggest since 1994. Within hours of the Fed’s move, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and others announced rate changes. Switzerland and Britain followed suit on Thursday morning

The goal from the start was never to "free Ukraine".

It was always, always to sacrifice Ukrainian lives and infrastructure in order to bleed Russia.

Just because "Putin bad" doesn't make us righteous in this one.

Which leaves the U.S. Fed's rate at 5.5%.

Which is 7 full percentage points lower than Russia's new ruble rate. Or 2.5 times higher.

But other than that, I guess they're really in the same league.

Thats interesting.

Russia tends to be a bit late to the economic party. they have not adjusted rates up since last year, when it was at 20%. seems like that bank likes to move them in larger incriments. .  it was forecasted at 10% this year.

China cutting interest rates seems like an outlier.

There's chatter that some big currency announcement is coming out of the BRICS meeting of August 22nd.  Talk of some gold and resource backed currency the trading bloc is going to establish.  This is a story that gets repeated often.  And while the event is something to watch I don't expect any major fireworks or announcements about a radial move to get out of dollars.  Watching the currency markets recently, just the opposite is happening as the dollar has been catching a bid and is stronger.

Belarus would use nuclear weapons in the event of ‘aggression,’ Lukashenko says

He also warned that if provoked – especially by neighboring NATO countries like Poland, Lithuania and Latvia – Belarus would “immediately respond with everything we have,” including nuclear weapons.
