So you don't think the Federal Government is helping private companies in combating and protecting against cyber attacks but I'm the dumbass.

I get updates from the Feds of what to look out for on a regular basis.  So that's help I suppose.

Yeah, I know.  My gray hair and newly born granddaughter makes me thing I'm old AF but I suppose I am still just a young buck.

Regarding the highlighted.  I think there is likely a correlation there.  LOL

Biden correctly read from a teleprompter to watch out for cyberattacks… if that didn’t get my SOC and SEC departments on the stick I’m not sure what will!

You are an idiot to think the fed govt is protecting private companies from hacking, except in some minimal way. And you’re a bigger idiot to provide as “proof” of that a list of state bills summarized thus:

Quote

2021 Introductions

At least 45 states and Puerto Rico introduced or considered more than 250 bills or resolutions that deal significantly with cybersecurity. Some of the issues seeing the most legislative activity include measures:

Requiring government agencies to implement cybersecurity training, to set up and follow formal security policies, standards and practices, and to plan for and test how to respond to a security incident.

Regulating cybersecurity within the insurance industry or addressing cybersecurity insurance.

Creating task forces, councils or commissions to study or advise on cybersecurity issues.

Supporting programs or incentives for cybersecurity training and education.

States are also addressing cyber threats through appropriations. Not all cybersecurity appropriations are listed here, although significant funding or funding for specific statewide mandates or state projects may be listed.

A task force in Idaho. I feel safer already.

I will admit my link did not make my point regarding the Feds but they are involved in protecting private enterprises from cyber attacks. If you want proof of that I’ll try not to disappoint you with my idiocy. 🙄

And I love the except in a minimal way part. It’s ok JA you can admit you’re wrong.  We won’t think any less of you. Actually most here can’t think any less of you.

There’s an awful of name calling on here lately. Can you’all have a conversation and just say you simply disagree with the other person’s opinion?
