CBS number 1 crew and national game for Chicago/Baltimore over the Bills is an odd choice.

I get Chicago is a big city but you'd think an AFC playoff rematch would be a much bigger draw for the majority of the country.

Chi is a mess and Balto got humiliated

Who would have ever thought that a game between NY and Miami would ever have such a small viewing area. 30-40 years ago, games between them were epic.

30-40 years. Now I really feel old.

I bet they get maybe 40,000 in the stadium that holds 80,000. For the Bills game it was pretty packed. MetLife had a lot of blue in the stands that day.

It’s the Lamar factor.  The networks love them some Lamar, plus Buffalo and Indy are small market teams.

So do I, lol. In fact their first few years I remember they had a dolphin swimming in a pool in the end zone (?), or somewhere. As a kid I thought that was so cool.

You mean like even before the AFL days?

Yeah, that's old!

LOL; just kidding

Ralph Wilson’s AFL franchise was supposed to be in Miami, couldn’t make a deal with Dade County to play in the Orange Bowl. Thus our beloved Buffalo Bills were born. Dolphins weren’t one of the original AFL teams, I think they were an expansion team in 1966. In their inaugural season the coach’s son was back up QB.
