So to humor you I went and looked through the articles I posted....they all mention it the only one that was really close was the CNN one and that's only if you somehow live under a rock and didn't know the Cuban government they're protesting against is Communist. I explained its a single payer system where the government isthe payer. Socialism would be where the medicare infrastructure, the doctors, the hospitals, pharmacies, all were under direct government control. They are not. By your definition of socialism every government program would be socialism since its funded by the government so the only way to have no socialism would be to have no government. I do believe that it could have been because it was said that it was going to be totally transparent & very few if any politicians were aloud the time to read and understand what was in the bill before rushing to get it through congress . Then saying it was free along with saying you could keep your Dr. and not have to change your group you were in when that was not true at all ! Also the fact that if you chose to not take it you were fined because they wanted to force you to take it weather you wanted to or not . Plus another fact that before the "Affordable Care Act" came to be i was checking out a health care plan that was a 80/20 coverage that was going to run around $300 a month (and i know that to be true because my brother had it for years before i researched it) to then after the "Affordable Care act" was implemented my cost was over $600 a month i didn't see the affordability part of it at all !! Then when all was said and done while trying to implement it in it's entirety the system that you were to sign up on was a total Cluster F and had so many glitches it just along with the prior things i mentioned proved that it was just another researched and well thought out government plan to help out the people of US . If we need any more proof just look at most anything the government try's to accomplish they screw it up yet they wonder why the peoples confidence in them is so low 🤔 and that only the things that we know about ...
