I  wonder what Cody Ford status is. I’d like to get winters off the field

I hope he can make it back as well.  I think his injury is very significant though.  I wouldn’t expect him to play but you never now the extent of injuries.  I had the feeling Feliciano would be back.  All the data pointed that direction.  Feel good that Brown and Milano are back.  Big dot will be if Ford is on the bike today.  He may be agame time decision. Let’s hope for the best

How significant could it be if he wasn’t sent to IR? Not like they couldn’t use the roster spot...

Well since yesterday was the deadline and he had already returned to practice, it was pretty apparent.

Did you see a practice report with the status of Brown?

We got Milano back last week.

Read my posts before the announcement.  Again, Milano played but didn’t start. He will this week and you questioned me on Brown. Relax.  It is great all three are back and we have a chance now.  Brown will definitely open up the field for Diggs

There’s an entire thread with people assuming he’d be activated yesterday. Cut the 💩 already.

Forecast calls for significant wind on Sunday.

If forecast hold, it will definitely impact the onlu

Only in the kicking game.  Both qb have guns.  I think we will have more balance this week.  I think our game plan will try to establish the run.  I expect Singletary to go over 100. He should get 20 touches.  The game will come down to our red zone offense.  Probably our focus this week in practice.  We will probably try to run it in this week.

Ford, Winters or Feliciano at guards? I would go with Feliciano and Ford.  Looks like Ford is playing on Sunday. So it will be interesting who the bills start.

It does? I haven't heard that yet. I pray it is true.

dude just throws shat against the wall and hopes it sticks. No one has said that yet. But I also pray its true. Ford at LG and Mongo at RG is ideal

He also will flip flop from one stance to another...yesterday he called Ford’s injury long-term. Today it looks like he’ll play. Tomorrow he’ll flip back. I used to think he did it so that he could say he was right either way, but now I think it’s just to mess with people that actually pay attention.

So aside from the occasional call-out I think I’ll be done with the shenanigans. It was fun for a spell, but I’m over it.

Everybody would go with Ford and Feliciano at guard over Boettger and Winters, but he hasn't taken a game snap since last season.

I'm sure he wants to go all game.  It's not unlikely he'll be limited to give him a chance to "play himself into game shape" with lower risk of re-injury.

I think it’s important to remember that John brown was a 1000 yard WR last year. Josh trusts him. He knows when to come back for the ball when josh is scrambling around in the pocket. He had 4.36 speed that teams need to respect - no one else runs below a 4.4 except maybe mckenzie but we know Daboll only uses him one way.

So question here.  Diggs ran I think a 4.44.  Is the difference of 0.08 sec truly that significant in playing speed?

Agree that Brown adds a lot, no question.

To me it seems our Motion has slowed way down compared to weeks 1-4, but this number is still showing we are still in the top end of the league.

BangedupBills.com had this to say before the Jets game:

G Cody Ford (right knee)

Ford is ruled out for Sunday after sustaining what appears to be an MCL sprain to his right knee as the result of getting rolled upon in the 4th quarter. He was able to walk off under his own power before requiring the cart to head to the locker room. I had thought he would benefit from a short term IR stay but the team has not elected to go that route quite yet. Considering he was playing through a groin, possible left shoulder/elbow, and now knee, he could use the break. Regardless of the IR decision, Ford will be out Sunday. [Again note that here, Sunday is a reference to the Jets game]

The left shoulder/elbow is a reference to Ford playing with a brace on his L side and it being observed he was having trouble blocking to that side.  For example in the breakdown of run problems vs. Tenn that's been shared, Ford has his guy blocked - but can't stop him from releasing off his block to the L and blowing up the run play.

If it were the mildest MCL sprain, one might expect that Ford didn't need the cart (unless it were precautionary).  A type II MCL sprain recovery is said to be 2-4 weeks.

Obviously the Bills don't think he's got a 4 week injury or they would have IR'd him last Saturday so we could get him back sooner.  But of all the Bills players who perhaps could really use a chance to heal up, Ford heads my list.  He's really been "walking wounded" when playing.

And still better than Boettger 😢

It might not make much difference said that way but it's fairly large difference to have two guys that can do that as opposed to one. So much so that it can change how a defense can defend you.
