For what it's worth, I think pitching Harris in this manner is a mistake, not because it may/may not be true, but simply because you risk alienating some of the independent voting bloc. The flip side of that is that one of the reasons Harris was a high profile candidate was because of her evisceration of Brett Kavanaugh, so in that sense the politics of personal destruction seem to work quite well. In a world where everything up to but just short of physical violence is standard operating procedure, it really just boils down to whether your candidate wins or loses. All bets are off. So darn if you do and darn if you don't. She who eviscerates, in turn deserves evisceration. What I like about Trump is he is the anti McCain, Romney, or Dole.
