Super Tuesday Primaries 3/3

Recommended Posts

Texans — particularly in places like Harris county — waited in exceedingly long lines for five-plus hours for a chance to cast their vote in the race, which accounted for the second-most delegates of all the Super Tuesday states.

That's one way for a State to suppress voters choice , where I live there is no line

C'mon man...

How do you expect anyone who isn't firmly entrenched in your Trump camp to take you seriously at this point?

This was literally your post from Saturday and the "no chance" was regarding Joe as the Democratic nominee.

Stop being like your Idol President and just admit you were completely wrong and move on.

Sheesh...

In all honesty, do you believe that Joe gets even close to these numbers if Pete and Amy weren't strong-armed to get out?   That's a pretty big shift in the odds from Saturday.

Yeah, but does Ol' Stammerin' Joe and Cornpop know they won?

This is funny. Trump literally did this line of argument at one of his sick rallies and now you guys parrot the same line of attack. Pretty sure Biden could explain anything better than idiot Trump can. Trump can only insult people and lie about his own record.

How did Joe do in the primary for his run for the U.S. Senate?

I didn't see any of the results of Joe's Senate run, so I can't tell you.  Maybe he will let us know today. ?

You sound almost as mad as Joe got when a fat guy asked him a question.  I bet your response will be to challenge me in a pushup contest.

I'm a little surprised the Democratic party base picked Biden over Bloomberg or took a chance on Klobuchar.

I don't think Biden has the energy to see the finish line, he's just as gaffe prone as Trump, and the only reason he wasn't roughed up about his brother's shady dealings, Hunter's shady dealings, his various political positions over the years, etc. is because the other Democrats thought he was dead in the race and they didn't want to spend the precious dollars.

Trump and the Republicans will spend those dollars.

At least with Bloomberg or Klobuchar, you didn't have decades of that kind of baggage.

The party conducted a live experiment of electability in the last month, and decided that Biden was the least offensive of the bad bunch.

The turnout of voters will carry him. Hard to ignore those numbers.

Least offensive is probably accurate.  But the fact that to the elite, he's "one of us" which goes along with his 50 year "I ride the train back to Delaware every night, because I'm one of the common people" schtick which worked fairly well with voters is IMHO a far larger part of why they've coalesced around him.

Really doubt though that he'll be able to keep the schtick up now that the veneer has come off.  So, it seems that decision will work about as well as Wile E. Coyote's schemes in the long run.

Sooooo... regarding this from Saturday DR:

Are you going to continue to double and triple and quadruple down or can you admit you were just plain wrong and without even the benefit of a week to give some kinda bullcrap "well I didn't know _____________ would unpredictably happen?"

I said I didn't care about Iowa, New Hampshire or Nevada because Biden's race didn't start til South Carolina.

He still might end up behind Bernie in delegates after California, but this is pretty clearly a 2 man race now and Biden has a damn good chance to still win the nomination, as I've predicted for MONTHS...

Well hey, you can console yourself with me just being a broken clock that's right twice a day.

Once with this...

Once with Trump losing...

You prepared to flaunt your Biden avatar?

i don't know that i would be taking a victory lap here.

i think the real takeaway is that... you guys are so desperate and delusional, you are voting for a man who obviously has dementia. what does that say? are you guys on the cusp of full blown dementia yourselves as well? i think a  case could be made....

When you lose NYT...

Many Super Tuesday voters across the nation made last-minute decisions, sometimes on the way to the polls. Even afterward, some weren’t sure they had chosen correctly."

That is precisely why she is still in the race. She siphons off some Bernie votes, which ultimately helps Biden. If Mini Mike drops out on Wednesday and turns around  and uses that money for Biden, then the whole DNC is behind  a guy who has dementia/stroke symptoms and who ran a pay-for-play in the former administration which he admitted to on camera.  ?

from the returns, though unofficial at this point, Warren is not having as great of an effect as the establishment might have hoped. only 12 delegates won tonight is not viable for the long run. Bloomberg having won 39 delegates is more of a drain on Biden. though neither is really viable.

i expect both are going to drop and we have a two man race in the Dem party.

If Hillary carried Trump over the finish line in 2016, Trump should easily pull Biden over the finish line this time.
