Decent discussion.

Hmmm, I must have blinked and missed it.  He did say a few things about today's Bills: that Josh Allen is a "humble kid", that he thinks Josh Allen is a year away, that he can make plays, that in the Baltimore game the Bills were right in it with a chance at the end, that for his size Josh Allen is mobile.  But most of the discussion was all about him and his  career and how he wishes he were playing today, which kind of matches my impression of Doug Flutie being a giant "I".

I mean, they're giving the guy his moment and the Flutie Flakes support his autism foundation, so I'm OK with that.

Well, it IS still Doug Flutie. THAT hasn’t changed!

The line about him and Culpepper was funny. But yeah, the whole man this is my offense they are running, was classic Doug patting his own back !

I'm gonna guess Flutie, on the grounds that you could probably leave Doug Flutie in the same room with a human infant and they'd both emerge unharmed.

How big is the infant? Less brittle, just sayin’.......

But what about the question?  More or less than a Pit Bull?

I suspect he’d prefer a cage match!

I'd rather pet a pit bull than shake Flutie's hand.

How long is your pole? Both to reach out to the Pit Bull, and down to Flutie’s hand?

Yes, he did talk about himself as he always has done, but if you listen to the non stop interviews on NFLR, all of these guests are pushing something, and then they make some comments on these two teams.  He was basically interviewed about Buffalo and I thought was extremely positive about the fans, and he is right.  I didn’t mind the interview at all, and yes, I remember vividly all of the controversy stuff back in the day with the QB lobbying etc.

This was a good, solid interview.  Flutie never really felt wanted or appreciated in Buffalo, particularly in 1999 when he got the Bills to the playoffs and had to watch Rob Johnson play against the Titans.  In this interview, he said NOT ONE bad thing about Buffalo or the Bills.  So what if he plugged the cereal.  He was not a great QB but he was a lot of fun to watch.
