Funny timing. Sweden considering lockdowns too

Sweden has lots of Covid rules in place and a citizen base that complies with the guidance suggested by their CDC-equivalent. They are hardly "wide open," but they are more open than other places.

"Stockholm currently has 27 coronavirus patients being treated in the region’s hospitals and two of them are in intensive care units. At the peak of the pandemic, in April, Stockholm hospitals were treating more than 1,100 people with Covid-19."

That's not what is being considered.  Where did you get "considering lockdowns too" from?   I read the article, nowhere did it mention that.

I think we know why you did that.

Right?  How do you solve your most expensive "people problem"?

I've asked this question of the experts before, has there ever been a virus that's been this precisely targeted?

I've been thinking about this very thing since the very beginning.  It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were doing exactly that given what's been going on with their economy.  The whole "bat from a local market" thing was just too obtuse and weird to not make my radar go up.

My BiL who does a ton of business with China, said that was the first thing his counterparts told him back in February.

Nah.  We have 60 million people over age 65 here?

Killing 175K I'm not sure dents any health care costs....as disgusting as that is to say.

Nope.  This was CIA, China, and the Global Cabal of Leftist lunatics working to take down the leader of the free world.

Nothing absolutely nothing will ever convince me otherwise.

I do not care how tin foil hat that sounds.  I have more evidence then you do to disprove it.

This would be my closing argument to the jury.  On April 1st, Fauci said this:

“This is inconvenient from an economic and a personal standpoint, but we just have to do it,” Fauci told host Savannah Guthrie, backing what is effectively a national 30-day stay-at-home order.

The shutdown “is our major weapon against this virus right now,” he said. “We don’t have a vaccine that’s deployable. This is the only thing we have.”

“We can get through it if everybody really leans forward and pushes on that,” Dr. Fauci added.

That is Deep State talk.  This isn't science. That is what they told each other behind the scenes before they came out to the cameras.  And in discussing this.....let this sink in please......for a virus Bill Stime claims Trump knew was super lethal and airborne in January (meaning it's never going away).....Fauci just 21 days after saying we can go on a cruise and the virus was not a threat was now saying shut it all down.  We did and no one showed up to any hospitals outside of 1 state run hospital in NYC.  It has now been on US soil for 8 plus months.  What you're seeing on the news today is exactly what they knew in March/April.  Young people don't get hospitalized.  It is not lethal to 99.9 percent of the population.  And here we are 8 months in and the data confirms all this.  And we are still "mitigating."  If we didn't know it existed we wouldn't even notice it.

He knew full well that this was about getting thru November.

Amazon city of Manaus may have reached 'herd immunity': study

The Brazilian city of Manaus, which was devastated by the coronavirus pandemic, may have suffered so many infections that its population now benefits from "herd immunity," according to a preliminary study.

Published on the website medRxiv, the study analyzed infection data with mathematical modeling to estimate that 66 percent of the population had antibodies to the new coronavirus in Manaus, where the pandemic's passage was as fast as it was brutal.

That may be sufficiently high to have reached the threshold of herd immunity, in which enough members of a population are immune to a disease that it can no longer spread effectively, said the study's authors, a group of 34 Brazilian and international researchers.

Manaus is now one of the cities reopening fastest from lockdown in Brazil, the country with the second-highest death toll worldwide, after the United States, with nearly 139,000 people killed.

That includes schools, businesses, nightlife and its famed opera house.

"Community immunity via natural infection is not a strategy, it's a sign that a government failed to control an outbreak and is paying for that in lives lost," tweeted Florian Krammer, professor of microbiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

What a joke that last quote.  This isn't a strategy.  Lol.  No its nature.

And we have a Manaus here in the U.S. it's called New York City.

That's not what the headline & story say.  Lockdowns are not being considered.

“Stockholm has seen a clear increase recently, across all age groups,” chief epidemiologist Anders Tegnell said on a press conference. “We are discussing with Stockholm whether we need some additional possibility to take measures to reduce transmission.”

just Sweden’s chief epidemiologist. It seems wholly unnecessary but their current restrictions seems to have things under control.

Show me where he's discussing a lockdown.     Even in UK, where everyone is pushing panic porn is doing nothing of the sort and is just curtailing pub hours, because apparently people have looser standards later in the evening after a few pints.  Who would have guessed?

Fauci & Rand Paul arguing about herd immunity today was mildly interesting.  Fauci gives no credence whatsoever to the lowered % that many are hypothesizing about lately.

and maybe our boy Fauci was making things up? Remeber he was very high on T Cell theory back in August
