Gov. Jon Husted said Friday. He said approval from the Food and Drug Administration, the necessary final step before the technology can be put to use, could come as soon as Friday evening. A Battelle spokeswoman declined to talk about the technology pending that approval. But Husted said his understanding is that the machines would be able to sterilize up to 160,000 masks a day.
