Expand I had never really thought about the Broncos taking a QB in that draft, but in hindsight, of all people, Elway should have seen some of himself in Allen

Expand Nothing wrong in being excited for what may come. Better to see a guy trending upward over multiple games than a single flash in the pan. I don’t think anyone is saying he’s arrived, but are definitely thinking (and rightfully so) that good things are to come (winning a playoff game, beating New England).
