If you allow the left to exist, unchecked, THIS is the eventual outcome:

?

Have a look at an election by county map sometime. Not ALL california is fruit-and-nut oriented.

The pendulum of Democracy swings left and right over several decades.  You survived Obama; I'll survive Trump.

Seems as if there are elements in the country that want people to get angry and violent....

But the new left’s pendulum swings way left. If they get their way many of us conservatives will long for the Obama years.

Fortunately our own Court has fallen on the side of religious liberty.

If/when that ceases to be the case, it’s time to start shooting those who presume themselves to be the arbiters of freedom and slavery.

Leftists universally support all manner of degenerate and deviant behavior, yet I'm the nutjob. Yeah, ok.

Yes. To blanket a statement like that and claim hundreds of millions of people on the left universally support all manner of degenerate and deviant behavior is something a nutjob would say.

Funny how that works.

Leftists come out and say something like: "Well, you don't support drag queens reading to kids in libraries, therefore you're a homophobe." Or "Anyone who's against illegal immigration's a racist" And that's ok.

But HEAVEN FORBID you claim that leftists are pro-deviancy. Oh no, can't have that.

We can have that and do - you haven't shut up about it.

Oh the irony of this is just astounding.  You are describing unbridled capitalism more than you realize.

So tell me, did laissez-faire economic policy and the system of landlords and tenants (who are no better off than serfs) help or hurt the people of Ireland during the Great Famine?  Surely the right-leaning economic policies that can do no wrong had nothing to do with starting the problem in the first place OR exacerbating it even further.

And what about the interventionist (read: left-leaning) policies that were concocted to help combat the problem?  Oh that's right, they were continuously stalled and cancelled because of the belief that the free market will fix anything and everything.  Got it.

Why do you even bring this up? All one has to do is drive through CA's agricultural lands and they will see that they are populated by huge holdings, generally worked by immigrant labor. Other parts of the country, but not all, have smaller family owned farms along with the super farms thus distorting the percentages.

So, you consider the system of landlords and tenants as it pertains to Ireland at the time as pure capitalism? You might want to learn to code.

That's not at all what I said.  Do you notice the use of the word "and" in that sentence?  That's a very important word because it distinguishes two separate issues, the first being laissez-faire capitalism itself.  You might want to learn to read.

The primary reason I included the comment about landlords was as a reminder that the aforementioned serfs of the far left are no worse off than the tenants of the far right, and that capitalism has equally bad consequences when left unchecked.

Not equally bad. By any stretch.

Unchecked capitalism isn’t capitalism, it’s kleptocracy (which is what we’ve had for awhile, no argument). There’s no true mobility or equal opportunities under that system, and that’s a problem.

But communism, when it functions in peak form, Is antithetical to Liberty, mobility, equality, and has 100s of millions of deaths on its tab. Socialism’s goal, by definition, is communism. That’s where it wants to go — and to deny this is to deny reality.

One is not like other. Marx has more blood on his hands than perhaps any other intellectual of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is incompatible w our form of government or way of life and has proven, time and time again, to be a worse form of government for the lower classes than any bastardization of capitalism to date.

Which is why candidates pushing for “socialism” are either ignorant of history or lying about it to secure their own power. It’s not about helping people or the working class. It’s about consolidating power in the political class.

The left, which represents the majority of this country, is the future.  So deal with it

After answering a question about a proposed monorail to deal with climate change, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez declared:

When it comes to the Green New Deal, people are, like — and of course, they come from this zero-sum mentality: “We’re going to take away your hamburgers. We’re going to take away your airplanes. We’re going to take away all of these things.” And really, what this is asking us is what are we going to make, not what are we going to take away — what are we going to establish. And, frankly, for everyone who says a Green New Deal is going to ground planes, I guarantee you, climate change — which threatens storms, turbulence, airplane groundings, and airport closures — will ground airplanes far sooner and far worse than any sort of climate legislation ever would if we made, for example, scientific investments in zero-carbon airplanes and flights and things like that, which, I believe, at some point, you know, hopefully we’ll be able to create that kind of technology. But it takes thinking like this to do it. So, thank you.

yeah... yeah... yeah.... so then tell me... I think we can agree your body is made up of roughly 75% water correct?

Is that water fresh water? Of course not, it's salt water!

When you work out an perspire, you need to replenish the water so you don't dehydrate right? You get where this is going.... Depending on your work, you may also have to replace the salt you sweet out... Cushy office job? Probably get enough in your food.... Outdoor physical labor like a farmer, or military?
