A little Wade Phillips Humor from his presser today

Love this man....

Rams defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, on his son, Wes, who is Washington's tight ends coach: "Wes is a young offensive coach who knows Sean McVay, if anyone is looking for a head coach."

I remember the stomping on a can of hairspray joke he made in reference to Jimmie Johnson stomping on a box of Flutie Flakes, funny as hell.

The funniest line he every made was about Ronnie Jones being a great coach.  He spoke it so deadpan no one knew he was joking.

Other than that decision loved Wade a coach for Buffalo.

Wes was our HS QB.  Had a pretty good run in '96.

....AND...an ageless (71) wonder at his craft...may not be HC material, but he ranks right up there with yet another ageless wonder in Dick LeBeau who coached until age 80......

To each his own.

I love Wade and think he would have won plenty of playoff games if he had been given the chance.  In fact, he "won" the one on the road against the team that ultimately went to the super bowl . . .  except for the fact that we got screwed over.  He also is very funny and does not suck the like out of me as the other guy does.

If we win playoff games in the future with McCoach, it will be a win win for both of us.

Wade’s daughter, Tracy Phillips, is a bit of a hottie - this, from ‘Charlie Wilson’s War’...

I'm not sure this deserves its own thread... but it is pretty funny.

What thread should it be under?  One of the Mock Draft threads, or one of the Allen is Better than His Stats threads?

Sure wish I knew the truth about the Flutie benching?

Wade has come right out and said it was Ralph.  Wade should have told Ralph that Flutie was starting as long as he was head coach.  Sure, Ralph would have fired him on the spot, but Wade really needed to show some balls there.

“Punt catcher” is an all time classic! I wish he lived in my neighborhood!

Right up there with “what do you think of your team’s execution” level stuff!
