I like this point. There's literally maybe 3 Marquee free agents that really turn your team around and they have half the NFL going for them. And we're not the only team getting cap space

People act like we're the only team with cap space.

That couldn't be farther from the truth.

There are tons of teams with cap space, and all of them offer better opportunities on offense than we do.

Signing free agents this summer on offense is going to be a very hard sell unless we grossly overpay (which is exactly how we got into our current cap problems).

This is exactly the approach that got us in our current cap situation.

Also none of those guys are good players. Austin is terrible, Cobb hasn't done anything for 3 years and Moncrief is a career underachiever.

You're right in saying those guys are probably our best options, but reality is none of them will actually make this team any better.

Was Micah Hyde a "good" player before Buffalo? Poyer? Hell, Jordan Phillips? I looked for guys we can get for relatively cheap that fit this mantra.

We just have different opinions dude. I don't think things are going swell, you like the future. I'm not going to be lumped in as an idiot child and not lump you in as an idiot dude hoping he'll crush at blackjack his entire life when he's horrible at playing.

I'm talking about the offense.

McDermott can coach D, but you need to score a lot of points to be successful in today's NFL.

Our offenses have been a dumpster fire on his watch.

Right, and I argue that he hasn't really tried to do more than bandaid the offense. Let's see what he can do with his cash to burn.

Statistically we are. I'm annoyed with this conversation, you want to keep everybody. You're entitled to that point.

You can make an analogy but are too lazy to interpret a counter.

I think we should do something because teams rarely play this bad consistently on Sundays, and someone's recponsible. That's the thread. We understand each other now? Seriously can't argue with you. We have different opinions. Leave it at that.

Is there anything you are not annoyed at or angry at? Seriously, it is a game. If it upsets you this much, maybe you should take a break from it for a while.

Opportunity cost is wasting years with a bad GM rather than finding a new GM we could have for a long tenure.

OK, who? You are the decision maker, who?

No you don't understand anaolgies lmao.

We have differences of opinion, leave it at that and stop making analogies that can't be countered without you understanding

Not the decision maker, the guy with an opinion that the next decison maker makes a better decision.

Pisses me off so much when board members demand we make the decisions for this football team.

If someone payed me millions of dollars to spend more time to try and fix this offence and team, I would be more than happy to comply.

Until then, we are fans and we have good reason to demand better from management

Sorry, but this is a silly knee-jerk reaction. It’s been 1 1/2 seasons for chrissakes! And, only 1/2 season since we made the playoffs!A lot of you need to learn how to hold your wads!

In 1969 they were 2-12-1 and in 1971 1-13.   I was there and it sucked!  The team has been worse. We do have a promising quarterback to develop.  Some of the foolish notions that he is already a bust not withstanding.  Take a deep breath and let it play out into next season! Things do change that quickly in the NFL. Any fan would know that.

I get what you are saying but I have zero confidence in this staff to develop a QB. They drafted a QB that needed to sit his first season and he ends up playing in the first game because the QB everyone in the NFL wonders why is in the league stinks it up in another game he starts.

This staff is not going to get fired because they made the playoffs last year and their franchise quarterback is out.

There does need to be some accountability on the offensive side and the offseason game planning though.

Daboll needs to go.   This new offense in today's NFL is like driving a model T in an eight lane highway in a major city.   Even if it is in peak condition with all of the right parts in place, it is not going to keep up and end up being a liability if you want to go anywhere.

2004 that's rough, and I thought I had it bad when I can say I was a fan starting in 95.

Well I watched Flutie then didn’t watch NFL again until they picked up Bledsoe. I have been a die hard fan ever since. Even the year we started 0-8 the team was competitive and had entertaining games. This year is just unwatchable. The game is usually over sometime in the first quarter.

I know you get a little emotional when you don't get your way and I don't want to send you over the edge. So, of course we can take a break from our debate.

Josh Allen is terrible. Tremaine Edmunds makes tackles 5 yards down field and is already 1 concussion into an nfl career at age 20. He will be out of the league before his rookie contract ends. Are we giving him a pass on Zay Jones?

That is quite a statement.

Before the season started everybody was in for the tank and a top 5 pick and now they have buyer's remorse?  No sense in fixing anything at this point.  Get the top 5 pick.  Breathe in.  Hold. Breathe out.  Repeat.  The Bills were not going any place realistically this year and now we are seeing a few teams in the AFC start to pull away.  Just get through the remaining two months and hopefully we are picking in the top 3.  Not a fan of picking QB with the top pick in two consecutive years but there maybe a conundrum seeing the Ohio State QB and a couple of others.
