Ouch! I pay $1100 for 2 season tickets! That team last night was much more representative of the team i had seen at the games in the dome. I don't know what was up in nyc but they were completely disjointed. Elijah continues to impress and be my favorite player on the team. He, brissett, and battle make a formidable trio that can actually also hit foul shots. I stand by my assertion that this is a top 15 team once they gel. The Poojer
it wasn't even jock itch that was butchering the names, he was just completely off the rails on his color commentary. I thought it was Ravetch, who i do like, that kept doing the 'dolejaz' and 'See-Dee-Bee' heavy emphasis on each syllable. It was brutal all the way around

The Poojer
Nice win last night. Granted it was an injury depleted Northeastern team. But it was nice to see the second team come in and play so well(ie, marek, buddy b and carey). Brisette seems to be getting into stride, Hughes is just a nice solid player. Battle couldn't throw it in the ocean. Tough stretch of games coming up, hopefully they can continue the momentum of the last few games.
nemhoff
Jalen Carey is going to be awesome for this team. As soon as it clicks for him it is going to watch. His athleticism last night was through the roof. And nice to see someone other than Battle finish at the rim!

Ultimately, I think the plan is to move him over to SG when JG3 gets there next year. Jalen makes the typical boneheaded frosh mistakes, but sometimes makes these incredible athletic plays that drop your jaw. Gmac needs to work with him on his outside shooting. He’s gonna be special. Bray Wyatt
What a second half by cuse!! Dolezaj making another heads up play, and battle with the kill shot! Howard before that play was run was telling battle to end it, gotta love that
Johnny Hammersticks
I think this team has yet to find its identity, but we surely have talent and depth. I loved the heart and clutch play down the stretch. It’s going to be an interesting season.

He would easily be the starting PG for either Nova or Cuse right now. Hope he got lots of instagram “likes” for picking KU. This ***** irritates me. We’re going to have a log-jam at guard though in years to come. Green can play either guard position. I think the plan moving forward is Jalen Carey at PG and JG3 at SG. Even though both Boeheim and GMac said public ally that they were recruiting JG3 purely as a PG. I’d take Green for some guard depth ? 2 minutes ago, bbb said: And Dave Bing? Johnny Hammersticks
FWIW, I’m still hearing from my two “sources” as of yesterday that the coaching staff still “feels pretty good” about an Isaiah Stewart commitment. I hear he’s been tearing it up this season and over last summer. Another great job of early recruiting by the coaching staff just like they did with Dion Waiters and Tyus Battle. Recognize their talent before the “big boys” can get to them. Don’t forget about 4* C/PF Qudus Wahab who just postponed his decision date, many speculate, to wait and see where Stewart goes. Many think he’s a Cuse lean if Stewart goes elsewhere. https://www.google.com/amp/s/247sports.com/college/virginia-tech/Article/Hokies-Top-Prospect-Qudus-Wahab-moves-Decision-Date-126255096/Amp/

Johnny Hammersticks
I wasn’t able to watch the game, as I was driving all over VT today for my son’s hockey games. I have it recorded....I probably won’t watch. I knew coming into this game that ODU was a very tough defensive team, and would give SU a game. I think they’re ranked in the top 20 in ppg allowed, IIRC. Recipe for disaster for Syracuse who is playing a very ugly brand of basketball right now. How does JB seem to pull it all together by the end of the season most years? Last season they looked like a NIT team at best, and made a run to the final 4. I just don’t get it. This team has waaaaaay too much talent to be sucking so badly right now. So disappointing. Hopefully JB has some of that magic left in the tank.
