It was kind of like a frying pan and when it was done it was like a giant tin foil dome full of popcorn. I think it was called Jiffy Pop. Or was it Jeffy Pop? I ran down to find her with a grease fire on the stove as she made popcorn. She was yelling for me to open the %$#&ing sliding glass door from the dining room, which I immediately did. She had potholders on both hands and screamed at me to get the hell out of the way! I moved and she threw the blazing pot out the back door, only to have it bounce off the closed screen door! Unless we have scientifically discovered anti matter or have created a Quantum Leap accelerator there will never be a new invention.
