President Donald J. Trump's Supreme Court Associate Justice Kavanaugh

Recommended Posts

BUT IT WAS REPORTED EVERYWHERE AT THE MOST IMPACTFUL MOMENT:

It turns out the American Bar Association story on Brett Kavanaugh was FAKE NEWS.

“The Senate Judiciary Committee released this letter on Friday from the ABA stating that Robert Carlson, the President of the American Bar Association who wrote the letter, didn’t get the it approved by the committee that actually votes on this sort of thing and that the ABA’s rating of Judge Kavanaugh “’is not affected’.”

For this abuse of power, Robert Carlson should resign from the ABA presidency immediately.

Heard on radio just now:  Republicans acted in bad faith by making the accusations into a political issue...

No, he should immediately be fired.

Quite possibly Trump's best play in his presidency so far is how he branded the concept of Fake News against the backdrop of the left's batschittcrazy meltdown, prompting the media to literally create Fake News to counter him and prove him right about something in which they more easily could have proven him wrong.

It's difficult to imagine a bubble so airtight that they simply are unable to realize how unhinged they are.

I served with Blumenthal in Nam.

You don't have to remind me.

I saw you and Blumenthal being interviewed by Brian Williams way behind the lines when the interview was interrupted by shots being fired at Hillary Clinton, who was parachuting in.

Some things..........You just can't forget.

Was that when you were shot in the back?

Don't remind me. It was bubba, he had it bad. He was shot in the heart and the medics were too late.  Up there on that mountain he gave love, a bad name.  A bad name.  Derrrr der de derrr derrrrrr

I was shot in the backside. But tell you what?  The good part was I got plenty of ice cream and got to show the president where I was shot.  They called it a million dollar wound, but I never saw that.

Of course, but not until later.

Blumenthal was injured, and Kerry not only performed CPR on him, but replaced his torn face skin with aluminum foil, which is why it  now looks like Reynolds Wrap.

Soooo my husband who is generally apolitical, and has never voted in his life, is so pissed at the "guilty until proven innocent" aspect of this hearing that he just (like 2 minutes ago) registered to vote.

If someone like him plans on voting this year, I cannot imagine what the turnout is going to be like in November.

I generally think the Reps are as bad as the Dems. Both parties are chock full of corrupt scumbags. As a result I rarely vote because I detest my choices for the most part. I readily admit I'm one of those that voted for Trump as a big middle finger to the establishment and because I was terrified of President Hillary.

This election cycle I'm going in and voting straight R for everyone I see, that's how pissed I am at this confirmation shitshow brought about by despicable Democrats.

It is a pretty sad state of affairs that a person can accuse another person of a crime and be taken seriously 36 years after it supposedly happened, without any corroborating evidence. Dr. Ford claimed that 4 other people could testify to it happening but not one of them could or would back her up. To the dems the only 2 relevant matters here are that Kavanaugh is a conservative judge and they are democrats. Every one of the ten democrats on the Judiciary Committee have been deliberately disingenuous. Let this settle in: they were willing to trash a man's reputation without any corroborating evidence whatsoever in order to achieve their own political goals. Every last one of them will carry this shame for the rest of their life.

The dems need to be made to pay dearly for the crap that they are trying to pull off.

Unlikely to happen.  Most of the media has had their back all through this and will continue to.  When the judge is confirmed, the narrative will simply be that the R's ran a sham investigation to give themselves cover and put an abuser of woman on the Supreme Court.

That and the voting public is so loyal to whoever is their "team" that it takes a series of events larger than this to even move a small number of voters.  It's much harder moving people from D to R because free stuff, attacking the white and the rich and the media's complicity make it a very heavy lift.  It took 8 years of Obama and his crew continually !@#$ing up to elect Trump and to move the house and senate.  Repubicans don't govern well enough to hold on to their seats.  The pendulum shall swingeth back to the D's at some point in the not too distant future.
