So me thinking that an injury prone WR might not be well-suited for going over the middle and taking hits, and the 7-game streak of poor performance pointed out earlier in the thread is cherry-picking... but a GIF of Watkins catching an out on a guy who is as of right now unemployed? Proof he's physical. OK. Sure.

Does Watkins really strike you as a WR who relies on the physicality of his game?

That was in 2015 and it's Darrelle Revis....Sure, Just a guy. Sammy's certainly capable of it given his build at 6'1" 211 lb with a combination of speed, quickness, and power.

Stay classy Sammy because when I think of far better things than Buffalo Bills I think i recently relocated team with a lat year record of 4-12.

Thats what he posted on his account right?

There are far better things ahead than we leave behind!

What did you think he was talking about? His cat? His dog? His uniform?

Iven his history of disdain for little jobs...

Being optimistic about moving on to a new situation is somehow a slight towards Buffalo? What a small minded, petty, and insecure mentality.

Literally none of those things describe me. You cant have a rational conversation because it is inherent in your feeble attempt to argue that you must disrespect me by using those petty words.

If and this is a big if, he was being optimistic about moving on to a new situation couldnt he have posted those very words Optimistic about moving on to a new situation.

Words have meanings.

The only things in his past relative to his profession is the Bills and failure to meet his potential.

You can very poorly try to insinuate he meant something else but that would be poor comprehension of the words, timing, and general context of the instagram post.

Hmmmm that perhaps the future will be better than the past? That he has bigger hopes with his new team than the results that happened with the previous one. Such insecurity around here about image, little jobs etc. some really need to get over it. I doubt Sammy is an English major and NFL players probably won't ponder linguistic subtlety when making a comment. You can read way more into his words a-la his well known Instagram fiasco or take it for what it is. A now departed guy looking to the future and leaving a not so good situation behind. I think the focus on "big play ability" is telling. Do we want long TDs? Sure. We've got guys who run in the 4.3s and 4.4s who can provide that.

What we really need though is "consistent play ability" meaning the guy who might not be flashy, but who is performs like he should week in and week out.

It's the seasonal luxury sports car vs. daily reliable car debate. I like getting from point A to point B every day, not just 50-75% of them.

We had long TDs and people would complain we scored too fast and that's why the defense stunk.

i still cant believe how depressed i am about this deal. all i can hear is john murphy's play by play from the PS game where he was extactic about the taylor watkins connection heating up.

brandon bean you screwed up. no matter how you decorate it a turd of a deal still stinks.

Nope. Good deal.

The fact that the Rams already have engineers developing a special shoe for Sammy speaks volumes.
