12-13: PHIL HOUSLEY ON WGR (9:20)
#Sabres head coach Phil Housley joins Jeremy right next on WGR! Tune in:

Housley - we went on our road trip and playing some very good hockey teams. We had some ups and downs, but it was great to see the response last night at home. Hope to keep this moving forward. #Sabres

Housley - I thought last night was one of our best offensive zone games. We all worked together as a unit. That's the type of game we want to play. But we still need to have more of a shot mindset. #Sabres

Housley - Earlier in the year, I don't think we were coming back hard into our zone, hard into a breakout. Sometimes guys weren't working hard enough, but when we we are doing the right things, you can see the type of game we can play. #Sabres

Housley - It's a good thing to see guys wanting to compete more with more players returning to the lineup. It's good for a team to have that competition. #Sabres

Housley - when Bogosian returned, it added depth to our lineup. He's a powerful skater, has poise with the puck. You can see what kind of player he really is. I like the way he has come back. #Sabres

Housley - We have to worry about ourselves and how we approach each game, but we're starting to close ground. Now we're starting to catch some of these teams in the standings, climbing the ladder. #Sabres

Nathan Beaulieu still out? That flu must of just ruined him.

Not as much as his boneheaded plays have ruined him. Easy to see why nobody in Moanrayall was sorry to see him go.
