Flynn asked for reciprocity with regards to expulsion. And his logic was both sound and correct: 1) An escalation of expulsions on Moscow's behalf (meaning more than 30 US "ambassadors" getting tossed) would shutter the US Embassy in Moscow and make any future Russia/US conversations nearly impossible. 2) That was unacceptable to Flynn because he wanted Russia and the US to focus on their common enemy: Radical Islamist in the ME. Per Mueller/CFH, Flynn also told the FBI in the 1/24 interview (about expulsions specifically) that he didn't tell Kislyak NOT to do anything. Now it is treason to try and convince a nuclear power not to overreact and maintain a measured response that does not cause an escalation of hostility. The same people calling this treason have absolutely NO problem with the traitors who have sold us out to the Communist Chinese. In a few months, it will be clear to all that the Democrat party is tied at the hip to China. They are too stupid to realize that the party is over for them, which of course is good. Flynn Discussed Sanctions at Length With Russian Diplomat, Transcripts Show stop being such a tool for once would ya. what happened was nothing out of the ordinary that has been happening for a long time. it is known as the transition of power from one administration to another. it is a prudent action for there to be preliminary discussions before the actual date arrives so that there is no downtime. what was unprecedented was the Oministration's obstruction of that transfer of power. you don't impose sanctions on another super power in your last days to attempt to box in the next incoming administration, yet that is exactly what they did. the Obamanation was upset that his legacy was going to be destroyed and his policies abandoned and that the Islamic State that he so loves was going to be held accountable. the FBI was going to clear Flynn until the 7th floor got involved and they quite possibly got their marching orders from on high. i suggest you read the transcript(s) and do some critical thinking of your own for once.
