Trump was getting upset listening to him talk about investigating his Russian ties, that's for sure!

Who can blame him? Being harassed by imbeciles and a complicit media and their Russian fairy tale bullshite. Now maybe real scandals can come out. Hopefully the legitimate part of the FBI will start coming forward with what they know.

Oh well, that gives meaning to some peoples lives until they realize how empty the chatter is getting.

But it's good for about five minutes.

Next story?

Nah, this has legs...reaching to the criminals in Moscow.

Can you say "compromised"?

No proof. Nothing. Comey said himself THREE times. Fairy tale. Waste of time.

Yup, nothing to see here....

The subpoenas are a significant escalation of the FBI’s broader investigation into possible ties between Russia and President Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Man, there is nothing like starting your morning with a daily dose of liberals in meltdown mode.

You all cry for Comey to be fired, and when he is fired, you cry about Comey being fired?

Really?

Thanks for the laugh, leftists. You never disappoint. Is it any wonder you're left with Macungie and Detroit.

Mhm, except it isn't just liberals that are concerned. Such as Republican senator Jeff Flake who said "I've spent the last several hours trying to find an acceptable rationale for the timing of Comey's firing. I just can't do it." If you aren't concerned about the timing of this firing there is no hope for you. Comey was leading an investigation into possible foreign interference and collusion, and specifically the Trump campaign's connections to these allegations. Get out of your tribal mindset for a minute. This looks really bad no matter what reason they give. You're as bad as any liberal you say just follows their side blindly.

Comey was also leading the investigation into Hillary's emails, and this week more damaging news came out.

So if you were to truly take partisan blinders off, which investigation can prove more damaging to Comey himself, and which investigation is at bigger risk of being compromised by the guy leading the investigation - Comey investigating HRC/Huma or new FBI Director investigating Trump?

Yes the Republican senators calling this firing into question should take their partisan blinders off. Good point. And what new revelations about the emails? Are we seriously still talking about that?

Let's say the Clintons are all wrapped up in really sleazy financial stuff, but it's not crossing the border to outrageous criminality. Usual political fare but it's public and they keep giving their enemies good grist for the mill.

So you are stuck "investigating" this kind of stuff.

Then the ex-POTUS has a meeting on the tarmac with the Att-Gen and the next day you have to announce the investigation is over.

Again... not outrageous stuff, but unbecoming conduct...

WASHINGTON — Days before he was fired, James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director, asked the Justice Department for a significant increase in money and personnel for the bureau’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the presidential election, according to three officials with knowledge of his request.

Mr. Comey asked for the resources during a meeting last week with Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general who wrote the Justice Department’s memo that was used to justify the firing of the F.B.I. director this week.

Mr. Comey then briefed members of Congress on the meeting in recent days.

Every new admin should immediately fire/release all intelligence directors and all working for the Attorney General for the previous admin, even without cause or concern, just get it over with.

Same as cabinet cleaning, keeping some around if they are vital and useful.

And Comey managed, via either incompetence or malfeasance, to step on his dick and misrepresent the information to Congress.

I'd probably find all of this hand-wringing hilarious, if I could understand one damn thing the left was thinking right now. They say Comey threw the election in Trump's favor by making public statements on the Clinton email investigation and supposedly stonewalls the investigation in to Trump's ties to Russia - who, like Comey, hacked the election for Trump's benefit. But now, in mere seconds, they change their mind and decide he must have been making too much progress against their bete noire on the investigation they accused him of stonewalling to the benefit of their bete noire, and completely ignore the !@#$ed-up testimony he just gave to Congress that was unreasonably favorable to Trump? Bunch of reactionary crybabies.
