I rather think that holding Seoul hostage with his artillery and rockets does more to keep him invasion-proof than a nuclear program. Eventually he's going to cross the wrong line with his nuclear threats, and the US will no longer care about 100,000+ South Korean casualties. Kim Jong-Il was his father's successor, and Rocket Man was his successor in turn. NK has demonstrated that they have nuclear bombs and are hastily developing ICBMs and shorter range missiles that could and in time - will be capable of delivering those weapons against their arch enemy - the US. So, what would you advise the SOS to do? Do we nuclear arm South Korea and Japan a-la what Russia did with Cuba in the 60s? Pressure Xi to remove Kim the 3rd? Start Peace talks to end the Korean War? The Fox article is sourced from a South Korean web site that has a two-paragraph blurb about the 2nd Infantry and ROK forces training together, and from that and the unit name "the 'Black Jack Brigade'" extrapolates a ridiculous wheelbarrow full of bull ****. They actually cite a picture on Facebook as a source. It's egregiously stupid and alarmist writing...and typical Fox "throw **** against the wall and see what sticks" reporting.
