The Deep State War Heats Up

There is fake news going on... but it's not this story.

Wheeler's own words (the one's he supposedly never said): (don't know who this twitter account is btw but couldn't get the video separate)-

https://twitter.com/bocavista2016/status/892438129000550402

But more to the point, this was dropped today by Assange:

Seymour Hersh talking about Rich, Wikileaks and the DNC: Seth Rich in communication with Wikileaks-

https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/892510925244203008?a

Relevant facts (per Hersh's word/sources... take them for what you will):

- No Podesta or DNC emails exist past May 21/22 (Rich was killed when? July 10th)

- Rich's computer shows communication between himself and Wikileaks in late spring, offering samples of emails and asking for money in return (per the FBI report Hersh claims to have seen and Assange himself who confirmed this to Hersh - and seemingly is confirming it again by tweeting this link)

- Rich left a deadman's switch, knowing he was in danger, in late June (long a source of speculation).

- Discusses motives for Brennan, Clapper, and the NYT to lie

Buckle up. It's about to get a lot uglier. Why? Four letters.

WELL, WELL: Former Obama Aide Ben Rhodes now a person of interest in unmasking investigation.

“Former Obama White House National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes is now an emerging as a person of interest in the House Intelligence Committee’s unmasking investigation, according to a letter sent Tuesday by the committee to the National Security Agency (NSA).

This adds Rhodes to the growing list of top Obama government officials who may have improperly unmasked Americans in communications intercepted overseas by the NSA, Circa has confirmed.”

DEEP STATE UPDATE: Even Trump critics say latest leaks go too far.

Even critics of President Trump seem to agree: The leakers have gone too far.

Many in Washington are expressing alarm that the transcripts of Trump’s phone calls with foreign leaders were leaked to The Washington Post, warning that the action could undermine the U.S. government and imperil national security.

“This is beyond the pale and will have a chilling effect going forward on the ability of the commander in chief to have candid discussions with his counterparts,” Ned Price, a former National Security Council official under President Barack Obama, told The Hill. . . .

The Post on Thursday printed the entire transcripts of Trump’s private phone calls with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.

Many in the media and on the left have celebrated the torrent of leaks — some involving classified information — that have bedeviled the Trump administration since taking office.

But Thursday’s revelation went too for some Democrats, who warned that the release of the president’s private conversations with foreign leaders is a bridge too far.

“Leaks of sensitive or classified information damages our national security,” Michael McFaul, who served as Russian ambassador under Obama, told The Hill.

That sentiment was echoed by Obama’s former National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor, who took a dig at Trump over Twitter but nonetheless said he’d have been mortified to see such a leak happen to his former boss.

The leakers should be found and tried, and the Post shouldn’t have published the leaks, which served no purpose except politics. Those involved should be subpoenaed for the identity of the leakers, and jailed if they refuse to identify them.

Journalists, remember, have no special privilege to refuse a subpoena.

It’s impossible for a President to conduct foreign policy under these conditions, which I suppose is the point.

Why is there so little talk about the leaked transcripts of Trump's phone conversations with the leaders of Mexico and Australia?

100%

The ongoing infighting, while cloaked in politics, is really about who gets to set the foreign policy agenda of the country: unelected USIC officials, state department bureaucrats, and the big-moneyed power behind them... or the elected officials of the executive and congress.

I'll state it again because it's so important:

To date, the only actual evidence of Russian Meddling/Hacking provided to the public by the USIC has been forensically proven to have been altered before its release. The metadata paints a clear and unambiguous picture of collusion within the highest levels of the USIC to undercut the incoming administration's promises in relation to foreign policy two weeks before it was ever sworn in.

This isn't conspiracy. This isn't speculation. It's fact. It's a fact that the DNI was lied about for seven months by the NYT and every other MSM outlet. It's a fact that the documents offered as evidence in the DNI were altered by someone on the east coast. It's a fact the CIA has several cyber weapons in its cache specifically designed to perform the type of forensic alterations done to the Guciffer documents the DNI hangs its entire "speculation" upon.

This evidence is undeniable. The DNI itself was never the consensus of all 17 USIC agencies (despite that being pushed by many on this board and in the media, it's now been proven to be untrue), the DNI itself was never the consensus of even the 3 primary agencies who contributed to the report, instead it was the conclusion of a small group of handpicked Intel officers selected by Brennan and Clapper who were ordered to find evidence against Russia.

But we're in a post-truth world. Politics trumps truth, especially on the left these days (though it exists on the right in spades). Too bad the partisanship is blinding so many to the real game afoot. It has nothing to do with politics, nothing to do with Trump, nothing to do with Russia. Not really.

It has everything to do with the continued decline of our democratic republic into an authoritarian oligarchy.

The DNC likes to say they work to help people they'll never meet in their lives. On this narrative they certainly are doing that. Of course they're not helping their fellow citizens, the poor, the veterans, or the suffering populations of the world... they're helping the same power structure that got us into 16 years of endless war - the same power structure many on the ground in the left protested against for 8 years under W - and they're doing so without a hint of understanding or irony.

It's a sad state of affairs.

Not that you'll hear about it. The entire MSM and USIC has been utilizing the Nazi propaganda playbook since the start of this "narrative". Repeat a lie enough times, everyone will believe it regardless of what facts come later.

Greg, I agree there is a ton of grist for the mill here and I appreciate your concerns as to why the MSM isn't bringing this to light. And then I think well, why isn't the White House and their very capable PR machine shouting all this from the rooftops themselves? Why haven't their media friendlies not been running with this? We've seen this White House seek to make mountains out of molehills about a number of things, truthful or not. So why aren't they taking this story and doing the same? Something just seems off about this.

There are numerous reasons, the primary one is that the VIP report is less than three weeks old, and by the very nature of the topic it's been completely avoided by every MSM outlet - which we know is where Trump (sadly) gets most of his information.

Other major reasons include the thesis of this thread: the true power in the west isn't found in the Oval Office or on the Hill. It's shifted to unelected officials within State, the MiC, and the USIC - who are backed by international financial concerns who in turn also own and control most of the major media outlets. Because this evidence is so damning to their power structure, there's no chance of it getting any meaningful coverage at this point in time. Maybe in a few years after the impeachment and after Americans have forgotten all about the DNI, then it'll come out... just like the truth of WMD saga unfolded over years, not weeks.

Yet another reason is that most of this evidence has already been admitted to by men such as Clapper and Brennan - they just did so months after the DNI was published and allowed to metastasize in the minds of the pundits and public alike:

Notice the evolution of Clappers "testimony". After months of appearing on every MSM morning show, where he never once corrected the hosts when they repeated the "all 17 agencies agree" line, Clapper comes before Congress in May and finally admits the DNI wasn't the product of all 17 agencies but instead just three. Notice also how he admits to how the task force was created (confirming the Curveball story posted in the RIP post) - which is in direct violation of the internal USIC regulations Clapper himself helped create in the wake of the WMD debacle. That's two out of three pieces of the VIP story confirmed by Clapper himself - and proof that Clapper intentionally misled the public (by omission) for months while making the rounds on the morning shows.

Neither of those lies or corrections were covered by the MSM... until the end of June when the NYT issued it's correction. Another two months passed between Clapper's admission and the correction... why? Because the Times is playing for the USIC not the American public.

The lie Clapper doesn't walk back, of course, is the "hacking" accusation. In fact he uses the word "hack" to describe how the documents were gotten from the DNC, referencing the DNI report itself. The VIP report makes it clear that what he's claiming happened fundamentally violates the laws of physics. There's no possibility the documents referenced in the DNI were hacked, there's also undeniable evidence that the meta data was altered by someone on the east coast.

It took the NYT two months to issue a correction about who authored the report (seven months if you count from when the DNI was released) and that information was available within the first two pages of the report... how long do you think it'll take them to issue a correction about the minutia of the DNI itself? If Trump were to tweet it, it'd be his word versus the word of a known perjurer and liar who the left and MSM have granted sainthood to in the past 7 months because he's been seen as standing up to Trump.

The evidence presented by the VIPs is verifiable, but requires some minimal technical skills as well as a clear understanding of the timeline of the CrowdStrike and DNC claims regarding the hacking. The American public doesn't have the attention span to recall the details of a story that broke today - let alone one that's now been buried under seven months of lies. There's no 140 character way to explain to people that: 1) The USIC pushed a falsified report on the public, and 2) The USIC is attempting a soft coup by doing so, certainly not when Trump is not just accused by already convicted of "collusion" in the minds of so many Americans already.

What we are seeing is the new way the powers that be hide the truth. For decades, before the internet, the truth was hidden by keeping the documentation and evidence from the public. Today, the opposite approach is taken. The truth is released along with a tsunami of other irrelevant information, designed to confuse and overwhelm the pubic. By the time the public understands what they're looking at, another tsunami of information with flashy headlines break and steal the spotlight away.

This is what we're seeing with this story. The USIC has been running information and disinformation campaigns for seventy years now, they realize that people don't believe the truth, they believe the first thing they hear. Especially if it's repeated, unquestioned, for seven months before the "truth" is uncovered.

If Trump comes out with this information without any backup - and backup will be hard to find considering how this narrative impacts even those on his own team - he'll be painted as a crazy person (like many try to do to me here - of course those making the accusations won't look at the evidence being presented because they're already locked into their belief about what "happened).

Which brings us back to the most important reason:

The true goal of this narrative goes well beyond petty politics on both sides of the aisle. It's bigger than Trump. It's bigger than Hillary. It's bigger than either party. This narrative wasn't spun to stop Trump. Limit his ability to enact foreign policy changes, yes, but that's a secondary goal. The primary goal continues to be a disinformation campaign aimed at the American people designed to make us fear Russia because that, in turn, will perpetuate the inflated budgets of the MiC who are struggling to keep the coffers filled just by fighting jihadists these days.

The evidence presented by the VIPs is a direct challenge to a narrative that serves more masters than those who simply wish to undercut (or vindicate) Trump's administration. This narrative is really about the continuation of the empire at the expense of the American people. As such, there are plenty of folks within the Trump inner circle who are playing for that team Empire: McMasters, Kushner, and (potentially) Kelly being the most visible of that ilk.

Trump, nor his team, are pure or white hats. This isn't good guys versus bad guys - it's bad guys versus worse guys. I wouldn't put it past Trump from tweeting this out - he'd just have to be aware of it first because no one on his staff is going to bring this story to him.

Are you suggesting that Trump and Co., especially Bannon with his nationalistic bent and strong right wing media ties, are beholding to these powers that be and are purposely not shouting the results of the VIP report as a result of this intimidation? I can't buy that in light of how sensitive they are to the least perceived slight, let alone this kind of report that could blow up the entire Russian meddling issue. Like I said, something isn't right about this.

No. I'm suggesting the civil war referenced in the OP is ongoing within 45's own administration as much as it is in other areas of the world.

There are plenty, and I mean plenty, on the right who are dyed in the wool unipolarists who believe in preserving the empire above the country. This is why so many in the GOP were "never Trumpers" during and after the campaign. Two of Trump's closest advisers (Kushner and McMasters) are playing for the unipolarists, and thus would have ample reasons to keep this story from coming to light. Flynn was the most ardent opposition to this group - he lasted what, a few weeks? How'd they get rid of him? By tainting him with the Russia stink.

I'm also suggesting that much of this, if not the majority of it, is theater being played to by all sides for differing reasons.

As in, there are benefits for even the administration to keeping this narrative ongoing as backwards as it seems.
